I'm going South of San Antonio, TX for business for a month. Living in MA, I'd love to try to grab some Texas largemouth. Any recommendations of where to go, or any guides? Looks like Choke Canyon Reservoir is the closest large body of water. Thanks.

Nice fish coming down to the wire. Looks like a nice, quiet place to fish too. In waders to boot! Too much lightning here in MA to put the Yak in though.

No one has caught anything bigger than 5.0? Or are they posting at the end of the Tourney? No offense on your fish anglr420, I just assumed there'd be some double digits out there. Anglr420 are you from a state that gets extra weight? Congrats on posting the first fish. Good luck. Sadly I never got out this week. I'm looking forward to see the winning weight this time of year.

What else do you guys recommend? Its tough, just getting into the swim bait circuit, many of the baits look the same, but there is a huge disparity in price. You cant go on looks, I'm mean come on, the Slammer is not exactly a sexy looking bait!! Thanks.
