  1. Your gonn be putting a lot of stress on the reel also when you hook a swimbait fish you don't let them run you grind them in to the boat as fast as possible and those Rees are the best thing made for that why change what isn't broken
  2. something look a little fishy..... no line tie and a spinning rod in the background lol
  3. thanks Trevor! Enjoy your bait!.
  4. thanks Wally! Yea she hit that bait so hard it scared me haha!!
  5. I apologize for the sideways photos not sure why it always does it!!
  6. Well me and my buddy Brent decided to go to the lake for a few hours 8-11pm. Brent makes large crankbait style swimbaits they don't have the best look but the action is amazing on them. So the whole way to the lake in the car he is talking about the fish he has caught on his baits I didn't really think much of it so I decided to tie on my HUD first thing I threw the HUD for about a hour with nothing to show. Brent threw me one of his hand made baits and said show me what you can do so I was like let's do this I tied on the bait he handed me and we went to a new spot it was a large cove that had 3-4 points we made about 15 cast with no success he pulls the boat forward and the back of the boat was perfectly lined up with a point in about 15 feet of water so I fire it out as hard as I can and land over the point I let the bait sink to the bottom then start doing a straight reel. Right when I got over the point I felt it bump somthing then just get smacked so I laid into it and yelled got one! I cranked the fish in and it was in the net in no time we yell for a little take a couple picks and put her in the well she was about 7 pounds. So we both get ready to start fishing and he starts reeling in his bait that was out there when he threw his Rod down to net my fish. He all the sudden just yells I got one!! This fish was turning the whole boat around cuz his line was behind the boat at that point he keeps reeling Rod doubled over I swoop the net under her and she is in the boat! What a rush! Awesome night I will never forget
