Mods, please remove this message. I did not intend for this to turn into a bash Andrew Hinkle post. I just wanted to know if this was his normal way of notifying customers and having them pay. Thanks
-
After sending several emails to Andrew Hinkle about ordering a shad glide, I received a reply asking to pay for the blank bait via Pay Pal FF. He said that these would ship in March or April. I'm just curious if anyone else received this type of email and if this is normal procedure with him or if someone possibly hacked my email and sent it. . Thanks SU.

Don't know about the Nego. I do know that when referring to God, 1. the G is an upper case G. 2. Blaspheming the name of God is a sin. 3. Fear God!

It's all about the hype. Deps did this same thing back in the day. Release a few then you can't get them for a while, then release some more and then, you can't get them for a while, make a limited release and then you can't get them for a long time. It is a marketing scheme. If you think that you can't get the bait or that the manufacturer is not going to be able to keep up with demand it does 2 things. One it keeps the interest up in the bait. The bait may not even be that great of a bait, but if it is marketed this way it seems like everyone HAS TO HAVE ONE!. Two, it drives the prices up ,up, up. Let's be real, the bait probably shouldn't cost more than about $30.00 . But, make a "limited supply", watch what the demand is for resale, raise the retail price and release another "limited supply" and just keep playing the game until the retail price gets way up there and then you flood the market with the bait and they make their BIG PAY DAY and all of a sudden you can get one any time you want one. Marketing scheme! AND LOOK.............IT WORKS. We will all be holding our breath waiting for the next "drop".

Don't dip it in acetone! Use a q-tip and dip it into the acetone and use it to wipe the finish off. I have done several Deps 175's this way. If you are patient and don't put too much acetone on at one time and don't spend too much time rubbing one place on the bait it will come off and not fog.

Had to have um' could'n't live without um' and now don't need um' !! 4- 6.75" Rising Son Bluegill color. 2 have been thrown once or twice each. If it were not for the hole where the hook was inserted they could pass for new! 4- 6.75 Rising Son American shad color. None have been rigged. One came with no eyes and it has a purple color around the head. Weird! Prefer to sell as a Lot for $80.00 to save on shipping and keep them affordable. If no interest in the Lot I may consider selling them individually or in smaller lots. $80.00 F&F of add fees. Not interested in any trades at this time. Thanks for looking!
