  1. I forgot to mention that this bait will sit on the bottom upright without tipping over with the top hooks in place. No matter how aggressive I get the bait will always sit on its belly.
  2. This bait is 6 1/2" long and weighs 2.1 ounces. You can attached treble hooks on the botttom for open water fishing or put single hooks on top for cover fishing. The top hooks stay in place on the cast and retrieve and will not free swing until pulled. These are a slow sink and swim great with a perfect horizontal fall.
  3. This bait is 5 1/2" inches long and weighs 1 1/2 ounces. They are slow sinkers and swim great.
  4. Sorry, I have only seen it in a PDF file. You can buy a PDF reader program from Staples, Walmart, etc. for $15 or less. There are also some free PDF reader programs online that you can download. Just do a search for "free PDF reader program". I hope this helps.
  5. You have to sign up at tackleunderground to be a member and then you can open it. It only takes 1 minute.
  6. I must apologize to everyone because I made statements based on what was put in this post and did not know any of the history. I was informed that there was some thievery that went on and now understand everybody's anger. Because I did not know the history I read the post as somebody being bullied. Again, I apologize if I offended anybody and still think we should keep the posts friendly for all to enjoy.
  7. I don't know him and don't care what the history is. This is a website designed to share information about swimbaiting and if you don't want to answer the question then don't but there is no reason to cause drama because you don't think someone has a right to ask a question. If there is a secret about swimbaiting then I can think of no better place to ask then right here on this website. This is a public website and if you have a problem with an individual then let him know in a personal message, that is what it is for. I realize that there is a group of people that think this is their website but it is a public website with adult followers as well as very young followers. I only ask that we keep this friendly for all.
  8. If the people that know the secret don't let it out then it will stay a secret but that is no reason to make a post like that. The way you put it lets everyone know what is going on without making anyone feel as though they can't ask a question about swimbaiting and I thank you for that. There is no need to be like that to anyone asking a question about swimbaiting on a website designed to be able to ask questions about swimbaiting. If you have a problem with himm, send him a personal message.
  9. I think it is the most ignorant comment in the entire thread. The purpose of this website is to help everyone learn about swimbaiting. This guy asks a legitimate question and he gets bullied here. If you don't want to help the guy then don't and if you can't help the guy then don't post but don't be ignorant about it. If you have a problem with the guy you can use the personal messenger to let him know but there are kids that come to this site to learn and they don't need to see that nonsense posted.
  10. I can't send you a personal message because you haven't made five posts yet. Post in this thread 4 more times so I can send you a personal message.
  11. FYI -- Cottonmouth snakes are also known as water moccasins.
  12. I agree, I would never let someone, who was not reputable, tie my knots for me.
  13. I actually transfer the shape from a real picture of a golden shiner to my PVC material. I will cut the general shape out with a bandsaw and the rest is done by hand carving and sanding.
  14. I fished these baits for the first time yesterday. The first bass was a 5.4 lbs largemouth. Up here that will get you lunker most of the time. I caught a couple more bass between 2 3/4 and 4 lbs. I also caught 3 pike from 25" to 30" and the baits held up great. It is great to see months of work on this bait pay off.
