Need funds quickly so this setup has to be moved. Socal pickup only or I may be able to meet up with someone who's really interested. I have a heavy action okuma guide select paired up with a shimano Cardiff 400a. The rod is the older model. The Cardiff has a little boat rash but overall is solid. Hoping to get 130$ out of it but feel free to shoot me an offer. Can send picks to those who are interested.

ive been putting in a lot of time on the delta lately. squarebills over the top of grass beds and grass lines have been money for me. like said above move around until you find them and once the tide starts moving the fish really start to feed. as far as swimbaits go i havnt landed any fish in awhile but been getting followers on the ganterel near tullie points with grass clumps mixed in

Thanks for all the quick responses guys i really appreciate it! Stipers are always fun to catch, i'll have to xperiment with some baits and hopefully get a few. I plan on exploring a lot of the river by me and hopefully finding some deeper holes like you guys said. May need to pick up a few new baits for up here as well!

I was actually at paradise beach yesturday and was thinking about walking the shoreline. Thanks for the info bro ill probably go down there sometime soon. I'm guessing there isnt a big population of largemouth in the American?

Hey guys so ive moved from sd all the way to sacramento to start college up here at sac state. I'm staying in the dorms and got the American river running right behind the building so of course i gotta bring a rod up. I've used the search bar and found a couple things out but i'm still a little lost as far of spot acess and what works. i also dont have a car so id be walking to my spots. I was wondering if there were any locals up here who could point me in the right direction. Not asking for anyones spots of course just some info about about how to fish up here. Any info would be much appreciated!

Doesn't the bailey swim have a longer handle then the other irods? If so I'd get that one I've heard great reviews on irods.. Or get an okuma guide select if money's tight -
If your looking for some night time ninja spots I know of a couple. Pm me if want and I can help you out

First of all id like to wish everyone good luck this year with all your goals and i hope everyone can stick a pig! Here are just a couple goals of mine for this new year. 1. Catch a fish over 7 pounds on a swimbait 2. explore new waters around the sd area 3. fish with new people and learn from them

Hey guys its been awhile! So a buddy of mine just gave me a fresh spool of pline cxx. the only problem is that its in the fluorescent green color. I need some line but im fishing crystal clear reservoirs here in San Diego and im a little hesitant to use such a bright color. Do you think this color line is fine or should i swap it out for a different color? Any advice you be greatly appreciated

I usually throw 8in hudds, swaver 200s, 8in bbzs, and gantarels. Im thinking the xh is the way to go. The rod looks sweet cant wait to get my hands on one.

Great review man! Do you think your heavy could handle 8 inch hudds and baits around that weight?
