  3. "remove, reduce, or control the effects of species, including Asiatic clams, silversides, gobies, Brazilian water weed, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, striped bass, crappie, bluegill, white and channel catfish, and brown bullheads" The smelt issue is pretty damn dumb. fishing in California is going to change big time.
  4. Is there any differences between the JDM and US versions of the Conquest?
  5. Just want opinions and preferably reels that are still in production unlike the TE
  6. Looking to see if anyone is interested. Rod is 2 weeks old with 1 trip under its belt. has full x-flock grip in red and black and is an awesome rod. PM me offers. Local Pick up around san diego would be ideal. Ill have pictures up tonight.
  7. id say stick with the one with more line capacity or you could even look at the tatula hd by diawa. The superduty just is more durable (holds up to braid, and more corrosion resistant as far as components within the reel)
  8. mine came like that too, swims well and catches fish, so i don't mind to much. they definitely could be molded a little better and cleaned up, but i think the company is just in it for the money now.
  9. hey guys just curious on your preference on the line tie on glide baits. What do you use Snaps, split rings, or nothing?
  10. How much is a super tune for a lexa 300 and toro nacl 60?
  11. nice fish! Tim, What about me? Go to the U of A for college and there isn't much fishing around here..
  12. agree on the tatula hd, great reel and holds about 100 yds of 20 lb mono. any round reel in the 200-300 size, no need for a 400 if your not going to go heavier. also have a abu revo NACL 50 and 60 and they are great reels, the 50 is like the lexa but in my opinion it casts better because of the synchronized levelwind and possibly other mechanical things. have both but I prefer my abu. 5 ounces is a little more than an 8in hudd and you don't need more than 20 lb test for that unless you're afraid of losing it. ive never broke off a 250 on 20 lb test.

  17. Hey guys, i just recently bought a tatula hd and need a rod for it. the setup won't throw more than 5 oz and I'm curious on what rod to buy. Currently looking at a Phoenix M1 heavy and am curious what other options are good out there. Ill throw rats, 175s, hudds, slammers, line throughs etc. Its spooled with 18b sniper fluorocarbon.
