Has anyone tried a coat of clear paint lacquer on the finish to try and preserve it some? I switch out my swimbait hooks with Owner STX 58's...very sharp and won't bent out.

Hello gentleman! I am new to the forum and following this site gaining lots of info on using swimbaits. Here in SE PA, not too many anglers are throwing these giants...but...I got a few and have been following the tips that I have read here. It finally paid of with this 6 lb 8 oz beauty on a 6" 22nd Century Triple Trout! Yes!!!!!!
