Congrats! I was planning on making it out there, but Mr Michael Jordan and Nike decided to release his shoe a week early and my other sick obsession had me choosing to drop another two bills on his shoe instead. Haha! Too bad I had to spend all Saturday morning to get it when I could've been fishing instead. I hope there's gonna be an SU So-Cal swimbait shootout round 3 as well!!

Roman made negotiator I have the most confidence in but I'll always throw a deps 250 as well and lately hollow belly swimbaits have been getting me fish when all else fails since I can work it in all depths especially the clear deep reservoirs we have out here in so cal.

Swimbaits are not for everyone. There's a time and place for every bait. 99% of the time I'm throwing swimbaits even if it's not the time or place to throw it. I've caught bass barely bigger than the swimbait I'm throwing. There's certain ponds that are pretty much drop shot ponds, so if we want to catch a bass, that's what we throw. But day in and day out its all about swimbaits. I'll go weeks without getting bites and see followers and just go crazy, but it's so much fun when you finally get a bass to commit. That's the fun of swimbait fishing. It's not for everyone, but for those that stick to it, there's a much greater reward than just sticking a bunch of fish on a piece of plastic. Just my $.02.

Did my first trade on the forum with SpaceGhost and the transaction was smooth! He had the bait in the mail the same day with tracking info sent to me as soon as he had it. I received the bait and it was in great condition! Do not hesitate to deal with Jesse. He is a great guy! Hopefully I get to deal with him again!

Darn it!! I'm out of town thanksgiving weekend, but if the date changes, I'm in. In any case, I'll let the Hawaiian bruddah know when I'm making the trek down to SD to throw some swimbaits for some hawgs and some island grub!

Every once in a while I run across some decent laulau down here where I'm at, but lately I'm all about da loco moco bra! I can eat that for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Haha! I can't wait to try that island style cafe.

Hey Dean, are there any bass on Molokai?? I grew up on Kauai and the bass fishing used to be awesome back in the day. I moved out to so cal about 14 yrs ago or so and have been in mission viejo for the past 10 yrs. It's too bad I only started throwing swimbaits after Lake mission viejo died but the bass spawned this spring so they should be some hawgs ready to eat some swimbaits in a few years, although I think there were some holdovers that I'll be throwing my 250 at in the next week or so just to see if any are really around. I make the trek down to Murray every once in a while and lost a pig over there on a negotiator. I would love to throw some swimbaits with another island boy. Maybe we can do a session at Murray one of these days! Saturday morning is my designated fishing time.

Darn!! I've been watching the website all day at my office and it never came up. I decide to spend a couple of quality hours with my kids at the driving range and miss the whole thing. Haha! Oh well!! I guess I'll be seeing them on sale for $150-$200 on ebay in about a week. Damn it!
