Hello SU Looking at either one of there for smaller baits like the VTS7, TK, Deps 4.8 BullFlat, and the Jointed Claw 178. Any help on these rods would be appreciated. Thanks

You are not the only one. Was hoping for a SU golden shiner or something along the lines of Cali dream.

How well would it work for BB rigged hudd?

Looking to pick up a LDC standard issue for tossing mags only rigged with a treble hook. Should I get a heavy or step up to a extra heavy?

Personally I would do it. I’ve tossed up to 4oz on a bantam without issues. If you are tossing soft bait, glides or baits along that line which don’t have a ton of resistance you won’t blow the gears out. Weight has nothing about destroying gears. It’s heavy resistance that does and the fact people are putting longer handles on the reels increasing the torque on the gears.

Check out East County Bait and Tackle. They have a pretty good selection of swimbaits.

Cookai vs Blackjack vs Valkyrie World Expedition 711XH vs Casino
Bassmann86 replied to 208Glide's topic in Member Reviews
I’ve had the cookai and the blackjack. The cookai is lighter, softer, crisper and more refined rod than the blackjack. The k9 felt really good on the cookai but I wouldn’t push it much heavier that that though. -
I don’t have any experience with cotter rod works but I got strung out on a long wait by another prominent rod builder for 3 customs to almost 16 months. I would get your money back and look for someone else.
