    Went bankfishing today.

    -it was gloomy, sprinkling, an kinda cool today.

     

    -i was the only on the lake because the main road to get there has been closed for about 6 months

     

    -was using a rof 12 weedless huddleston the entire time, didnt get one bass bite but had probably a dozen catfish follow the bait to shore, and a equal amount of carp that wouldnt follow as if to eat it but magically appear near the shore 5-10 seconds after getting the bait out of the water.

    @jermey trying to get the gantarel to run just a above the bottom without sinking to the floor on a pause if i rigged it with a weight on the second line tie, @big slant, i read that article pretty good an followed everything, as far as i know but it could be wrong lol how come you dont use crimps?

    And do yall think direct palomar tie from 80lb braid would be okay to that floro?

    For me it started when i saw someone do it on instagram, an i thought to myself thats genius so ish doesnt get all mixed around, baits are protected, soft swimbaits an soft tails dont get bent either. So i just made one for my backpack when im on the bank and one for when im on a boat

    I didnt have any weedless stuff at all, but just bought a few 68 weedless rof 12 so i can get down to them without being caught with weeds. They were sitting all pretty much at bottom 5 feet of the water column. I have gantarels, islides, swavers. Gonna pickup some 250s, was reading about suspend strips to maybe get them down deeper.
