Went bankfishing today. -it was gloomy, sprinkling, an kinda cool today. -i was the only on the lake because the main road to get there has been closed for about 6 months -was using a rof 12 weedless huddleston the entire time, didnt get one bass bite but had probably a dozen catfish follow the bait to shore, and a equal amount of carp that wouldnt follow as if to eat it but magically appear near the shore 5-10 seconds after getting the bait out of the water. I have never ever seen this happen before, anyone have any clue what the hell would have caused this?

Thanks jeremy! Ill try the rp knot out, i was a lil skeptical about doing the palomar as well for that same reason but figured maybe with it being thicker braid i would be ok, but will for sure try the other out. Have you had any success with a swimshot rig?

@jermey trying to get the gantarel to run just a above the bottom without sinking to the floor on a pause if i rigged it with a weight on the second line tie, @big slant, i read that article pretty good an followed everything, as far as i know but it could be wrong lol how come you dont use crimps? And do yall think direct palomar tie from 80lb braid would be okay to that floro?

Did i do this right? I covered the weight with a tube and its hookless. Anyone who has swim shotted let me know if theres anything i should change before i try this out tommorow, thanks!

For me it started when i saw someone do it on instagram, an i thought to myself thats genius so ish doesnt get all mixed around, baits are protected, soft swimbaits an soft tails dont get bent either. So i just made one for my backpack when im on the bank and one for when im on a boat

Best option is to not paint the entire lures exterior but to wrap the interior an put minimal paint on the exterior to blend. Jmo Example
