This perch Slammer was given to me by a buddy for my birthday a couple years ago. It’s got such a unique action to it, it’s almost silent and throws a super small wake but the thing gets bit. Recently caught this 4+ smallie with it in 18-20 feet of water.

Selling some baits I can’t see myself using anymore. The moonshiner has rash and some wear and tear, all cosmetic nothing structural and swims beautiful. I have the fairy wand version of it and its my favorite conventional rod, super high quality build and awesome components. The blanks are super nice and it seems to be very durable. The one complaint is that the grips can get a little slippery with some fish slime and water mixed in to it

I learned that every single year can be drastically different. Another big take away is that i need to really work on fishing cold water better. I have been very annoyed by soft baits and glides in the past, but i need to work on picking those up in the cold months more often. I also learned that not going out on the kayak as often and fishing from shore really limits me in catching fish
