I just recently bought this but have decided to go custom. In great condition! This is the IM10 blank which shimano doesn't make anymore. Strong and light! I'm asking $120 shipped. PM me, thanks.
I have a 7'11" Shimano crucial swimbait rod, great condition! It's the older model crucials, not the new/recent green ones with cork grip. $120 shipped.
I've been throwing mine in the past few weeks. It's my heaviest swimbait but it is a SLOW sink. Glides real nice and the paint shines. I have yet to get a bite on it compared to my BDB shellcracker and bassroid that I've thrown equally with the gillrilla. But I plan on getting another one with his next batch in gill color.
Decided to mess around with my airbrush after putting my kids to bed the other night. Slammer painted with createx. I'm no pro but maybe one day, just maybe....haha.
Great info here because I've been looking at this rod since November. I'm hoping to see/feel it in person at the sportshow come March in MN. Is the rod tip heavy?
gcopple, what's considered a decent tip? Would a moderate fast tip be better for swimbaits? I've been looking at this Daiwa SB rod too, but just not sure because no store in MN carries them.
Great post and opinions. I think a swimbait is a bait that just swims. Nothing more or less. Whether it is swimming dead, slow, fast, up, down, or side to side.
