  1. Great fish Chase!
  2. I am also using Ionic Lithium batteries for my trolling motor, (2), 100ah batteries and I could not be happier using them. They have performed flawlessly for me and we are headed into my 4 th year with them. They get used several times a week all year long down here in Central Fl. I am using the Minn Kota Precision charger for both my AGM crank battery and the 2 lithiums. I am very happy with my choice to go with Ionic Lithium batteries.
  3. When they commit to a bait, they generally crush it! Nice fish,
  4. I am very happy to say that the Customer service folks at KGB got back to me within 24 hrs, and they are shipping me replacements eyes for my swimbait tomorrow. Sounds like fantastic service to me. Very pleased! Thanks for your help guys
  5. Thanks guys, I have a request into KGB just waiting to hear back. I appreciate your help. David
  6. Hi Gang, can anyone help me out with a customer service email addy for KGB Swimbait Co? I lost an eye today on my bait today and would like to replace asap. I am not an Instagram or Facebook kind of guy and that is the preferred contact method, I think. I sure would appreciate your help, thanks, David
  7. Caught this gal today, water temp 61*, in Central Florida, this is my 3 rd fish over 7lbs that I have caught since May of 2023 when i started using the Spro Chad Shad. As a relative newcomer to the swimbait world I am amazed how quick these baits have become my confidence baits. I started out with the 7” baits and now have started using KGB’s 9” TSG and new 9” Legend. Todays fish was caught on the 9” TSB in Dave’s Shad. The KGB baits are so life like that I have fooled Osprey’s into thinking they are lunch. Fortunately both times they only grabbed the bait by the top and have avoided the hooks. Once they realize the drag being exerted by the reel they let go. This fish weighed in at 7.30 lbs, in October I caught my all time PB on the Spro Chad Shad at 7.70 and a little over 2 weeks later I caught my new PB on the chad Shad again at 8.00 Lbs. I always have 2 gliders on the deck at all times now.
  8. Thank you, folks, for your thoughts about using split rings. What I am hearing is let the fish tell you what they want. Which seems to be the only tried and true bass fishing axiom.
  9. I have been adding an egg shaped split ring, from Owner, to my glidebaits primarily to cut down on the friction to the line at the knot as the bait works. I am using the San Diego Jam Knot for my connection to the bait. Now none of the baits that I own have come with a split ring, but I added one because of the reason discussed earlier in my post. I am kind of brand new to this swimbait deal, but in the last couple of months I have caught numerous fish over 5 and 1 over 6lbs. In short I am currently “ate up with the swimbait bug” I am really interested in your thoughts on the pros and cons of adding split rings to these baits. Thank you, David
