  1. I’ve had a goal for the past couple years of getting a DD, but have yet to get it. Most of my fishing is bank fishing. Gonna make this a Got’em thread as my journey to get a DD. I’ll post the fish I catch along the way. Fishing lakes and ponds in south Mississippi. Here is my latest and then my PB. Latest: 6.2 on the swerve glide PB: 7.2 (full transparency caught on a trig curltail)
  2. No hating on other baits, I'm just happy to find a killer glide for under $20. Yesterday was the first day I went out and didn't get a bite with it.
  3. Had 30 mins before I needed to be home, so I tried out a different spot. It took this fish a few hits but one finally stuck. Went 3.10 and 20".
  4. Bought this bait as I was walking through the BPS aisles after a work event. They only had one and were just getting it put out. Some people here may not like it, but it has flat out got bit the last few days. Fish posted went 6.8.
  5. The baby bullshad has been my best investment. The lake I'm staying at is filled with shad so they are really zoned in on them.
  6. Been throwing the Baby Bullshad a lot lately. These Mississippi Bass have been dialed in on it. Past two weeks I've had a 3, 3.5, 3.5, 5.5, 5.5, and 6.5 lb.
  7. I posted earlier about my first bass in two years. It was awesome to land a good one on the Hud for the first one. I've caught more dinks on small keitechs, but decided to see if my local lake had anything bigger. First fish on the swaver 168. Fishing has been great!
  8. Thanks for all the comments! And thanks for supporting our servicemen. I wanted to clear up that I actually live and work overseas I do not serve, but wanted to make sure I wasn’t taking any praise that other men who serve deserve. Thanks again for all the encouragement on the catch.
  9. I've been living overseas for the past two years, but I have had a chance to come back to the states for some leave. First time back on the water throwing the 68 special and got the biggest one in my local pond. Best way to come back
  10. I see some of the stuff you have are savage gear line thrus and real trouts. Moving down to the south in a month. Wondering if they work well for you and if you think they would work in the Gulf Shores area compared to your experience in Florida.
