I've got that sweet blood that the mosquitoes are drawn too . If mosquitoes are around, they'll swarm above my head like the flies over Pig Pen in the Peanuts cartoons.

Pretty much a reel on every rod, ready to go. I guess 300 sized reels across the board will work, and lines would be: 25lb fluoro, 20lb mono, 30lb mono, and braid (will research # test).

Hi all, I have a hoarder buddy who has picked up some things over the years and now needs some help finishing the setup puzzle to maybe one day sack up and throw the full range of swimbaits available to him. Given the list of rods and reels below, what would be the missing reels/line/pairing to have a setup on hand to throw whatever bait he may want to throw?

Still in the 40's at night, but this Saturday and Sunday it's going to be in the low 70's, I might have to make my first trip of the year.

Los Vaqueros has always been tough for LMB. I heard they're trying to build up the lake population with some fingerling stock in some parts with cover but still not a primary species there.

I've ordered from Black Dog Baits many times, only issue I had was a broken bill on a wooden shellcracker and they replaced the bait with no issues or hassles. I've met Jeremy at a local tackle shop (Coyote Bait) and he's a cool dude.

+1 to Brock. I bought a couple of baits from him through his Facebook posts and both times he got back to me right away with pricing/status as there were waiting lists at the time. Waiting for his next batch of Gillrilla's now.

I stopped by in person, they were out of trout all sizes, and out of TK perch. TKs are $89.99 and everything was selling fast, great to see DRT supporting a local tackle shop.
