  1. My local tackle shop should have some weedless 68's available, try giving them a call - http://www.coyotebait.com As for weedless shads, those are my unicorn right now, been looking for those for months and the ones I find are marked up for over double retail.
  2. I use the Texas Tackle Executive ones but if I had to do it over again I'd get one of the ones with a colored grip. The executive are small in the hand and the bare metal can feel a little slippery sometimes, not the best when messing with sharp trebles.
  3. Ah ha, thanks, missed this initial thread!
  4. That thread on the 3:16 baits has me thinking about a red flag I saw with someone selling Black Dog Shellcrackers (unbilled floating/sinking) on eBay. Seller says the box is unmarked and cycling through the same pictures on multiple baits. Almost all of this seller's baits look like cheap knockoffs and I'm sure most of you are wise enough to figure it out but just in case because the shellcrackers are specifically being called out by brand name - http://stores.ebay.com/Fast-Way-lures?_dmd=1&_nkw=shellcracker+black+dog
  5. Batch just went up for sale on their website. I got one in their last batch and it's a pretty slick looking finish!
  6. One word of caution if you go to any Northern CA lake in the next week or so, call the lake marina or a local tackle shop to make sure they're open to boating, not to mention possible mudslides restricting road access. Lots of lakes are cresting over right now because of the storms and closed to boating. More rain predicted for this weekend as well, so be safe.
  7. You might consider Bullard's Bar too, 9 days ago someone pulled an 11.4 spot that unofficially beats the world record spot that Cody Meyer caught in Dec. As for the Delta here are the bag/big bass weights of a 2/18 tourney - http://www.westernbass.com/forum/post576538.html#p576538 Handful of nice fish and a few nice bags but also some rough ones.
  8. I'll take this mouse if nobody else has put in interest! Sending PM now!
  9. How much did these cost on the Black Dog site? $100 like the other wood billed crackers? Saw the above picture shared but they were long gone by that time. Great looking color!
  10. It depends on the location, at most of the low elevation places the stocking ends around April as the weather starts to warm up, but the higher elevation places get DFG stocks year round - https://nrm.dfg.ca.gov/FishPlants/ Some lakes run their own plants in addition to the DFG plants, for example Los Vaqueros Reservoir in Contra Costa County brings in trout plants into the summer (1000 lbs of Lassen on May 9, another plant this week). Also check to see if the place getting stocked has a striper population because those things chow down when the trout plants come in.
  11. He says to keep your tip up with a slow retrieve to get it to wake on the surface, and speed up your retrieve to get it to dive.
  12. These just went up for sale this morning on his website with 5 different colors, pretty good price as well ($55). The white ones sold out in an hour or so but all the other colors are there.
  13. I grabbed one of those 50/50 bass/bluegill punkers are a local shop a couple of months back...really nice paint job and kind of a trip seeing the opposing sides...I know it doesn't matter to the fish but it makes a nice display piece!
  14. Inshore redfish down in Texas, Peacock Bass and Tarpon in Florida, Musky and Pike in the Northeast, White Sturgeon in Oregon.
  15. This is from BDB's Facebook page, I think it's the bait -
  16. Ben just put up some of these baits for sale on the LDC website, 5 different colors to choose from. Anyone have any info on these baits?
  17. The first bunch sold out fast but BDB put some more up yesterday and they're available again.
  18. Man that thing sold in like 2 minutes lmao
  19. MOAM has their website up and it looks like you can order three different types of production rods - http://www.moamsticks.com/
  20. Just an FYI, MOAM posted on FB the other day he's gonna have his website up and running soon.
  21. If I'm reading that right looks like you raised almost $2k! Great to see that kind of support!
  22. +1 to the kid from San Jose You're probably throwing those swimbaits out at Coyote?
  23. Shipped fast and 2 swimbaits came wrapped in bubble wrap in perfect condition, thanks!
