    JJ77. Then just say what you mean. Your posts grouped a bunch of people together. I'm a damn good father, a damn good husband, and make enough money to buy whatever baits I want. I don't like bait collectors. I buy my stuff to fish it. But who cares what someone else has or spends money on? It's not up to you so deal with it.

    Open it back up and look at the internal area of the thumb bar. There is a nub where the thumb bar is and a tab on the other side of the reel. Make sure that nub sits right under that tab. I'd think it's for the free spool/ thumb bar engage. I did the same thing the first time I took mine apart,

    I use pline a lot. 20# and 25# original fluorocarbon. Honestly, I just started spraying real magic on my spools after each trip. I will also spray it down the night before if it's been sitting spooled up for a while. Helps get rid of a lot of line memory

    I've had that issue with a couple weedless sons. I can usually fix it by backing the screw out one turn. There's always that WTF moment when I rigged it dead center and it's off a bit coming through the water. I have a couple 10# beast hooks with 2 wraps of lead golf tape on the shanks. Give it a shot.
