    Tested one out last week. Helicopters on long casts. The action is decent enough for the price point. To be honest, I would spend the extra $10 and get an swaver 200. Better colors and if you want more action shave the joints.

    Thanks for throwing a review up. I was worried about the weed guard either causing hang ups or causing missed fish. I guess for the price it's worth a shot for a cheap banger.

    I've been using liquid mayhem for my soft and hard baits. They make a lot of scents and I use two or three of them when I want a scent. The crawfish, garlic craw, and shad are all great. I'm not sure how they make the stuff but it will stay on your bait for a long time. Most of the time I wind up having to wipe it off my baits with a cloth. I really only use scents when I want to cover up other scents or when I'm running low on confidence

    Been there man. My buddy out fished me last season knowing nothing about bass fishing. I threw everything in the book to catch a fish and nothing. He was throwing cast masters and rooster tails into the grass (getting hung up every cast) and still bringing fish in on an ultra light with 4 lb test. Some days are like that.
