Either way I think that the amber lens should be better than any grey lens of any company so if they aren't as good as costas at least they will be better than a grey lens. It's also interesting to hear about how much of a difference being able to see the contours in a body of water makes in picking out the subtleties of a fishery. 

    I’m not certain that all oakleys are even polarized, so that may be part of the problem some guys are having. I’ve heard pretty good things about the prisms, but I wear costas and smith optics myself.

    I don’t agree. If me and a buddy find a spot together it’s our spot. You don’t take other guys there, and I don’t take other guys there unless we clear it with one another or it’s a dude both of us trust. Had too many places blown by a friend with a friend who tells a friend, who tells his friends. 

  8. Calcutta Repairs

    Who do you guys recommended for repair on a Calcutta 700B? This is the third time I’ve had problems with the spool release button and the reel locking up. The people recommended by shimano (bass pro :( ) have yet to actually fix the problem.

    If they had the 1-4 I’d get one for sure. 2-8 is just heavier than I need.
