Interesting to hear the opinions on the Oakley lens, hopefully the new prizm technology that they made is sufficient for me. Either way I think that the amber lens should be better than any grey lens of any company so if they aren't as good as costas at least they will be better than a grey lens. Who knows, maybe a pair of Costas will be in my future. It's also interesting to hear about how much of a difference being able to see the contours in a body of water makes in picking out the subtleties of a fishery.
I’m not certain that all oakleys are even polarized, so that may be part of the problem some guys are having. I’ve heard pretty good things about the prisms, but I wear costas and smith optics myself.

I don't fish tournaments but in my opinion if he's cussing you out publicly he doesn't consider you a friend nor does he respect you. 2 if you found spots with him regardless of who's boat your on its your spot too. Now if he put you on a spot and you want to use it in a tournament you're both in then sure show him courtesy and say hey just a heads up I plan on fishing this spot but in no way do you need permission.
I don’t agree. If me and a buddy find a spot together it’s our spot. You don’t take other guys there, and I don’t take other guys there unless we clear it with one another or it’s a dude both of us trust. Had too many places blown by a friend with a friend who tells a friend, who tells his friends.

Who do you guys recommended for repair on a Calcutta 700B? This is the third time I’ve had problems with the spool release button and the reel locking up. The people recommended by shimano (bass pro ) have yet to actually fix the problem.

Shoot me a PM, what size is it? If its the 8” I’ll take it

I’ve already had it, you can take me off of the hold list @El_Weruso

Just trying to get a travel rod, I’d be glad to pay retail or maybe more for a departure heavy as long as its in decent shape. Of course cheaper is better . If anyone has any other travel rods let me know, just trying to get something quick.

Going to Africa in one month... Need a rod bad. I would just order an F5 departure or Okuma Nomad but both are out of stock/discontinued. Let me know what is out there. Preferably 1-3, 1-4 or 1-6 ounces, but slightly lighter would be ok too

Where is the rod located?

Still looking for a travel rod. Something 1-3, 1-4, or 1-6 ounces would be great. Let me know what is available.

For the rod i’d just pick up a okuma nomad they are great travel rods and not very expensive.
2-6 oz in stock at TW

Amazon is cheaper
If they had the 1-4 I’d get one for sure. 2-8 is just heavier than I need.

Unfortunately it seems like they have been discontinued

Like Title says, still looking for a travel swimbait rod for baits in the 1-4 or 1-6 oz range.
also looking to trade a tranx 401 5.8 in very good condition for a 401 ahg, 301 ahg, 400a or 400ahg, or 300ahg/300a in the same condition. Just don’t need two of the same reel.

Pm me details please, definitely may be interested.

Looking for a travel rod. Something for lighter baits. Around a 1-4 ounce rod would be great, but anything around there should be fine, even something lighter would do

For those of you guys talking about low light lenses, the Costa 580G sunrise silver mirror has been a game-changer for me. I wear them all day if it’s overcast, and about 50% of the day if it’s high sun. Visibility is unmatched
