Honestly I kind of hate the TK the only way I’ve seen fish eat them is dead walking or cranking. The only advice I have for you is sell all your TK’s and buy a K9. 10x the bait and will catch better class fish

Congrats on the truck man. I went to Toyota to look at a 4Runner ended up leaving with a leftover Tacoma back in early 2019 when leftover trucks were a thing. Have 0 regrets keep up on maintenance and it’ll last you a long time. The one downfall is it’s geared more for off-roading so it’s constantly searching for gears on the highway it downshifts for hills and to pass constantly other than that I don’t have a bad thing to say about it.

Shipping wasn’t include when they were $60 I think it cost an extra $25 or so to ship then. I still have mine but I wouldn’t buy one again especially at $120. They’re cool for the pics but there are better products on the market for cheaper. I had to epoxy mine to keep the paint from bleeding all over the carpet of my boat not sure if he fixed that issue yet

Huk tournament bibs. Have had them for 3years fished in some nasty stuff both freshwater and saltwater and never been wet. I also have a 29” inseam and they fit great.

LDC is my favorite of the custom rod builders I have used but I too will be starting to build my own rods this winter

Communication isnt great its a pretty known thing by now. But he does deliver it just takes a while and when he does the paint is spot on.

Open water over a drop off, weed edges, and right in the pads it gets bit everywhere. Typically slow retrieve pause and snap the rod almost like a jerk bait to get the legs to kick thats usually how I get bit. Keep some mend it on hand and a single frog will last a dozen fish without a problem.

Mustang is the obvious answer as they're the most popular and used a lot offshore. I got a 2 pack on sale at west marine they look good but I haven't needed to actually use them.
