    HPH head first

I see what you did there...
  2. Ended up with one 4 pounder. Missed a fish at the boat that was easily 7-8lbs...But I was happy with the one. I've been skunked the last few times out.
  3. I'll be out there tomorrow myself. Best of luck tonight gents!
  4. Nice fish! Way to keep the streak alive! Twenty is within reach!

Bought an MCL from Jesse and it was a quick and smooth transaction! Great dude! I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again! Thanks again!
  6. I bet the Mandingo just slays the white bass...
  7. Shot Jason a note today to get an update on my order from April 18 and he responded about 30 mins later. He said he just sent out the first week of April orders and said I should be part of the next batch. He said that he has not forgot about me and that he has been trying to find help to make baits but he has not been able to find anyone so far to help him catch up. So hopefully those of us in mid to lat April who ordered will see baits in the next few weeks.
  8. Great fish! My buddy and I even said yesterday that we should be out on the water with all those clouds. Well done!

  10. Fishing in my float tube one morning a few years back in a kinda sorta secluded area for this time in the morning. On the opposite bank I was fishing there was a couple chilling under a blanket enjoying the beautiful morning awaiting the sun to rise over the canyon wall. Then I hear the moaning...and realized the chick is grinding on top of the dude. DUDE...THESE PEOPLE ARE BANGING ON THAT ROCK!! Not 15 yards from me...and then we make eye contact...stop of a second...and keep going. Zero f***s given. Gotta love the white trash out here. Hell...I wouldn't have let some guy in a float tube stop from glory either I suppose, so I commend him on that. I couldn't help but to laugh. Weirdest thing I have ever seen while fishing...

    Testing Time

Sounds like you need to start your next day on the water throwing that bait, seeing as you have a 100% cast to catch percentage so far!
  13. Hey guys this is from December of last year but it was too good of a day not to share and just thinking about that day is getting me pumped for this fall/winter. I started throwing swimbaits last year when I was introduced to the idea by my buddy Jeff below. I've known about swimbaits for a few years but all my resources had been previously been spent on go fast bits for my Subaru project. I finally decided to sell a few car parts to buy an Okuma Guide Select, a Shimano Curado 300 to go with it and a Deps 250. We had been out a few times but I didn't boat any until this day which was about the 4th or 5th time we went out to the lake (first time on this particular lake). First thing Jeff says when we hit the water is "I'm pretty sure Manny Chee is on the lake right now, and I think I see his boat by the marina". So we decided to work our way over that direction and post up in an area that Manny is fishing. Then we see a little stocker trout swimming for it's life as huge bass are busting the surface after them in about 30-40ft of water. it was some of the craziest things i have ever seen. It was like watching White sharks blowing up on those sea lion decoys from those Discovery Channel shows. So I throw the 250 out on the last boil and start slow rolling it in and BAMMMM! Grind her in quick. First fish is 7.8#. I was pumped! Another hour goes by then the boils start again, we hear Manny yelling "swim for your life mother f*&%#$!!" as we see another trout swimming for its life. I toss out again....BAMMMM...this one is a 9.5# fish! I could not believe it! (As you will see in the Insta post attached below, Manny had a sweet write up about the next part.) Manny asks my buddy Jeff why he isn't throwing a Deps, and Jeff tells him that he doesn't have one. So Manny being the rad dude that he is, lends a 250 to Jeff. About an hour later BAMMM...Jeff hooks into his PB a 10# fat girl. She still had the tail of the last trout she ate showing in her mouth! We had 27#'s between three fish in the first 4 hours on the water. We didn't have any further luck the rest of the day, but hell...we were okay with that! I know it's old news, but I had to share. It was just to great of a day not to. Here's to hoping for a few more of those days this fall/winter! All I can say is...just keep hurlin' boys! https://www.instagram.com/p/_GElOBom19/?taken-by=mannychee https://www.instagram.com/p/_IIXfIomw9/?taken-by=mannychee
  14. Wish this would have popped two weeks ago up before I bought a new Loomis! GLWS!
  15. Great video guys! Watching you snap baits off pains me. I hate seeing it, but I love seeing it at the same time because it makes me realize I am not the only one that S&%$ happens too out there! I snapped off a 250 and a 175 on the cast in Saguaro last winter. Nothing you can do but watch it sail through the air and sink into darkness...
  16. Wow...this is what makes this community so great! Glad to see your buddy will be back up and running in no time!
