  1. I know this is a few months old, but I am a huge hockey fan and beer leaguer myself. But with a wife and two young kids now, I am down to playing only two nights a week. Used to be 4-5 times a week. I was a bit of a rink rat. lol
  2. @El_Weruso Sorry I didn't get back to ya! Things have been crazy the last few months for me and I likely would not have been able to fish the bait anyway. But thanks for putting this together! Best of luck for those who get their chance to fish it!
  3. IN This is great, thanks for the kind gesture! Happy holidays!
  4. Man, some of you have been very fortunate! I lost way too many baits my first 2 years of throwing but baits for many different reasons such as simply not retying enough, crap knots, chipped guides, snags, knots in my line during casts, my giant fat fingers hitting the reel handle and engaging the reel mid-cast (my personal favorite). But thankfully, I have not lost a bait since I casted off my last OG 2 years ago. The right rod and reel setup, and retying more frequently has been the ticket for me. Thank christ, otherwise I would have given up by now. -2 OG Natty trouts -2 new style 250's -multiple mags/hudds
  5. I fish out of a tube pretty regularly. I have caught some nice fish from it throwing big baits and obviously its nice to be able to get to areas that don't allow gas motors so you don't have to deal with wakes and super pressured water. But mentioned above, getting out to take a leak SUCKS and F the wind
  6. Had one in my cart, checked out and BAM! Got the "You gotta be quicker than that!" Sold Out notification. No biggie though, for those who did grab one put those bad boys to good use!
  7. I used this guy a few years back to repair a couple of rods. He's located in Scottsdale, and does good work. Like I said, its been a while since I've had him do any work so I'm not sure if he's still working but if he is, he's a good option. Gene Pauling 602-614-4406
  8. What a toad...that's a fish of a lifetime.
  9. I picked up mine from Japantackle.com as it was the cheapest I could find it by almost $100. Well, cheapest place that I was willing to buy from. Absolutely love my 2018, granted I have not owned the 2014 but the faster gear ratio and synchro level winder were the big sell for me on this reel. Like Tino mentioned above, this reel casts a mile! I have no complaints!
  10. 1 on swimbaits 1 not on swimbaits (which is my PB) 5 swimbait fish in the 9's...
