Here are the weights of a couple of the baits you mentioned and a few others in a similar size category: Hiro 13” trout, Sly Guy 12” trout, Dockrat, Pizz DDT. I have a beast I can weigh later as well.

I’d reach out to him and explain the situation including the date you paid. My theory (complete speculation) is that he does follow a list but as people who’ve been waiting start to get antsy and email frequently he’ll send those folks baits. Keep in mind you’ll probably have to email multiple times to get a response and the date he states probably won’t be the date you get your bait. I do think you’ll get a bait but without reaching out that could be anywhere from tomorrow to 3 years from now. I’ve learned in the swimbait community that the customers just give out interest free loans to a lot of bait makers that need some quick money for something so they decide to do a “preorder”. I think it’s gotten better but there’s no other way with hinkle unless you want to spend the flipper prices or wait until the market comes down.

Sitting on way too many baits right now but there’s a few I’d love to try / own: 1) Holy Crappie 2) Go2 AR 3) KRR glide (smallmouth) - I’m a sucker for smallmouth patterns. 4) KGB baby benson 5) Had a lot of Pizz back in the day but sold them and then haven’t wanted to get involved in the frenzy but I’d like to try the Pizz Beast Mode

Thanks @chefchris - that was a very helpful write up. I was actually looking at a larger TT a while back. Good to know it’s similar. I found a really good deal on a new top hook mother a month or so ago. Out of the box I can see what you’re saying about the harness. If I can find a deal on a triple maybe I’ll try to do some comparisons.

Looking for some feedback or a review on the different Roman Made Mother models. There’s the classic two piece version that seems quite common but I don’t hear much about the top hook or triple jointed versions. I’d assume the top-hook swims the same but interested in situations where you’d throw it over the standard version. Additionally any info on the triple joint version would be appreciated.

I have zero tks but folks seem to really produce on them in cold water. Water temps in the waters I fish in Vermont are sitting at 43! I may need to try this out in the late fall spring. I don’t know anything about the tk options. Any recommendations?
