I've caught most fish on the gills fishing them higher in the water column. Fished the Shads and other long profile baits on bottom. The ones I've used on bottom have stood up good with the belly weights they come with. Also with the wedge tail they swim really good slow. -
UPDATE Found another 4.5" Shad so there are 3 Shad ones.

Livetarget lot. -5 3/4" Hitch -4 1/2" Sucker -4 1/2" Shad X2 -3 1/2", 4 1/3", 5" Sunfish All new baits (one is out of box but has never been used.) In between jobs so could use the money.
