Its dope to see how many folks actually get out with their dogs, its definitely nice having them out there but as @Kyle1387 and @VTGRADE-A said they start getting a bit curious of what your chucking and winding. The pup is growing fast, I am going to have to lobby for a bigger boat haha. Nice dogs guys nothing better than having the four legged fur kids to hang with.

I figured instead of starting a new thread I will just add to this one. Picked up a Wade Hoggs and Two face creek chub wake from the black market and it came in the mail on Saturday had plans to get out from 0330 to 0630 on fathers day so figured I would try out the pick ups. I was hitting my smallie spot in hopes of sticking a giant. I started out with the hoggs due to the wind picking up, then rotated to the crank downs with no love. Wind started to die out so threw the two face wake on and targeted the typical areas of this place I like to hit. Got blown up on by a short smallie but man was she fat. She went 3-6 and definitely was a nice fathers day surprise. Definitely will be adding this bait to the rotating line up. Hope all you dad's out there had a great day.

UFO is definitely my confidence bait but I have Hoggs coming in the mail in a few days so I will have a comparison soon. like @kahai808 mentioned two different baits with different applications and both have their place. I will put it this way a buddy and I were on a night mission a week or so back I had the UFO billed wake on and was slaying until a certain point in the night and then he started crushing on the Hoggs. It could have been they wanted a louder knock vs the squeak the UFO makes, profile difference, or structure we moved to. All I know is they both caught fish at different points on that outting.

i am currently throwing a wicked customs rod "shorty" he just came out with this shorter style rod and tbh I prefer it over my 8' rod even in the boat. He is on IG but dont believe he is on the underground. The rod is 7' XH with fast action rated 1-6oz.. I throw everything on it from UFO to biggfeast bomber wakes.
