    Action and sound over color all day. That said I have confidence in Brown back Gold belly and Matte Black, but I fish mostly shallow heavily structured stained water. But that Brown Gold does great in clear water as well. fish looking up at the sky the rat is just a shadow or silhouette. Crankdowns might be a little different with color flash.

    A few baitmakers have websites with email sign ups for notifications. Would be cool to have a universal calendar feature where baitmakers can post upcoming drops for everyone to keep track of and possibly get notifications from.

    Keep in mind some baits with large diameter hook hangers like a .092 might need that size 6 for room inside the ring.

    If it’s a top water rat, I don’t think realistic patterns matter. It’s all light or dark from the fishes vantage point. White belly or dark belly contrasting the bright sky or stained water.
