Class 1 railroads have already started holding some cargo from being loaded, I can't get into exacts but no matter what this will already impact some people!!

Apparently this is going to boil down to if Congress is going to step in. Remember if Congress orders us back to work many Railroaders will quit and the back up continues to get worse.

If the railroads are so important, why are we getting no love? The PEB missed the fact that we want 2 things in the new contract. Without these 2 simple things we are going on strike and if ordered back to work there will probably be mass resignations. 1. 2 man crews guaranteed. 2. Attendance policy that we can have a life. We are asking Congress to stay out of our business like the Class1 Railroads want the Government to stay out of their business. with the latest update. We call on Congress to stay out of our dispute, and if you do, we are confident that the rail carriers will move from their current positions and settle with their employees in a fashion that could be ratified.

Talking with quite a few guys and we basically all agree..... if they do not address the attendance policy we are striking. The Carriers represent that the average hours that a TYE employee (train, yard and engine service employee) works per week is: 34.3 hours (2020); 35.5 hours (2021); and 33.0 hours (2022 to date) and that the average hours that non-operations employees work per week is: 43.4 hours (2020); 40.7 hours (2021); and 42.2 hours (2022). That is what the class1 railroads say what we work per week!!! WHICH IS A BLATENT LIE!!! A single trip in one direction is average about 10 1/2 hours then we get to sit in a hotel for about 24 hours then another 10 1/2 hour trip home then we do it again in about 30 hours....With the attendance policy that we have right now everyone with those hours literally would be fired. So their own numbers don't add up. It doesn't take a Mathematical Genius to do the math... they are just straight up lying. Another thing for the Class 1 railroads the weekend starts on Thursday. Railroad Holidays include but not limited to Super Bowl, Halloween, Father's Day and Mother's Day which we don't get paid for but they will dock you more points for laying off those days. Yard and local jobs work a minimum of 5 days a week with the average day about the same so how do they come up with those numbers? OH WAIT THEY JUST LIE ABOUT IT!!

Sorry 124 pages later and the PEB basically kicked the can down the road, They were unwilling to help the working class and did absolutely nothing to address the new attendance policies. My vote is to strike. When I get more info I will post it.

Check with the manufacturer to make sure of the full cure time and has finished off gassing. Contaminants can be airborne especially in a confined area ....WD-40, silicone spray and just about any aerosol spray. after spraying WD-40 wait day or 2... if you have sprayed silicone wait a minimum of 5 days.

Contamination for sure! I would lightly wipe down the baits with 91% Isopropyl Alcohol and see if that makes a difference. Also the dehumidifier might not be doing a good job, Basements usually have extremely high humidity.

I fish wakes in low or no light but the lakes I fish have crystal clear water. For me the hotter the water the faster I will retrieve the bait.... I never stop my retrieve ....we don't have any wood or weeds to fish. My suggestion is take a little bit from everyone and make it your style.

Most productive is going to be a question that only you can answer, Because of area, water conditions, temp, cover, wind are just some of the parameters to consider. Usually each different wake will have a sweet speed for that exact lure and it's up to you to discover it. My personal speed is either dead slow or fast depending on how the fish are responding. I use a 7:1 reel for wakes, it gives me a wider speed parameter to easily work with.

More people are getting an idea of what we have gone through and again this does not cover everything.

We are in a PEB cool down period for 60 days then if either side is still not willing to sign a new contract it can/will be a strike or lockout, but at that time Congress can force us back to work, then write our new contract... Because we are considered so essential to everyday life!!!! The Government can/will step into a Privately run company and order us to work....NO MATTER WHAT THE ISSUE IS!

When I was using a float tube in February I split my waders and sat in 53 degree water for 2 days...Just killed the Bass but my boys were not happy for a couple of days.

The President enacted the Presidential Emergency Board. A second thirty-day cooling off period will begin when those recommendations are issued. Either side can except or decline the PEB recommendation. I will try to keep everyone in the loop. Funny how not a single national news agency ran this story... which would of affected every American more than any story in decades.

I would say buyer beware.... I walk the walk and talk the talk ..... you are only as good as your word SO PROVE IT. It's pretty simple for me, get burned and that person just lost all my trust and respect...if he/she is even close to being a decent person they will try to fix it.
