  1. The bullshad and 3 soft baits on the left are gone. Everything else I still have plus a megabass islide 185. Let it all go for 70$
  2. Wtt my islide 185. In almost perfect shape. Has a few very small hook points that you almost can't see. Looking for swaver 200 or any other 8"+ glide.
  3. So this brings up my final head scratching question.. in general.. you have a rod, production or custom(don't know if you can change it with a custom or not) a rod to throw 10-13+oz baits, do you have one for treble hook baits and single hook baits, or at that weight of bait does it matter anymore? Slant... how does your rod load when you've got a fish in your mother?
  4. I just watched that video this morning actually. I guess what I'm really getting at here is, when you get into rods that can throw double digit oz. size baits, is there still a search for wether or not it's parabolic, or are rods built to handle that kind of weight stiff sticks mainly through the whole blank? I'm aiming to get a rod this winter for true giant baits, but don't really have any insight of what to look for or what the rod will/should feel like seeing as how nobody I know around me has anything like that.
  5. Since I only own 2 rods both by the same company I don't have a clue about this... as swimbait rods get more heavy duty, are there big rods that still have tip to them, or do they all kind of lose that the heavier they are? There is a huge difference between my xh and xxh. Is that more of a custom rod build type deal or are there production rods that throw 8-12oz that still have a good tip?
  6. I thought all of that was resolved? I've seen a lot of the guys getting their stuff they ordered from him and he gave a reason of lack of communication.
  7. Starter bait lot. $115 to your door obo. Will entertain trades as well. These are all lures that just sit in my box and they need to be out catching fish.
  8. Exactly 2 years ago today I caught my first fish on a swimbait. Swaver120 on a spinning rod. I had spent a whole week watching tacticalbassins video of the swaver and this day I remembered him saying, "if you feel a little tink, set the hook" well that's exactly what happened. Straight retrieve, in the middle of the pond, and tink. This fish went 4lbs even in the middle of summer. And this is what started my swimbait craze. I then bought 2 hudds which I casted off with braid due to backlash on my spinning setup, then I didn't buy another swimbait for a long time. Fast forward to today, and I own no conventional gear at all and only throw swimbaits. Along with being apart of this group and a few more, I still find good info, tips and tricks every day, which help me improve as an angler. Still waiting to catch my pb on a swimbait, but I'm sure it will happen with time! Big thanks to the swimbait community for always being a source of knowledge when I need it! What are you guys first swimbait fish stories?!
  9. Looking to trade or sell my 8" slow sink bull shad and 8" savage gear glide swimmer. Open to just about any offers. Let me know if you're interested!
  10. The only thing I have to offer right now is baits to trade, so buying is kind of out of the picture.
  11. Really looking for a shad profile glide that's around that 9"+ mark. I have baits to trade and will even go a little lopsided on my end for the right one. Let me know what you have!! 317-978-8170 for the fastest response
  12. First fish on the 7" savage gear line thru shad in carp this evening. I've got the 10" in shad color, I wonder what I could catch with that... hmm. Savage gear products have done good to me lately!
  13. The perks of having a matured pond with nice fish in it on my works property is that I can clock out and go fish right after. I was there 5 minutes, and spent 3 minutes trying to finesse her enough without overpowering and popping the hooks out while she was stuck and struggling in a huge grass mat. One head shake, free eyesight and she took off and I was able to finally get her to the bank. Thank you mr. Gantarel.
  14. Wow what a deal
  15. Savage gear shine glide 185, bullshad, and a gantarel have been my 3 go get em baits this year. Pay attention to what you're fishing and look for the subtle sweet spots during you're retrieve.
  16. Was so excited that I got my biggest swimbait fish I forgot to picture the scale. But at least I get indiana some love. 4.9 on the shineglide
  17. 5 hits. 3 fish today. And finally getting a rhythm on the shine glide 185. She went 4.9 and my biggest swimbait fish yet
  18. Just saw someone post this the other day. In the top 10 were some states I thought shouldn't be on there, but oh well. But with that being said.. being from Indiana, and Indiana being named the worst fishing state in the country, I want to take it upon myself to make that title dissapear! I've got some things coming in the mail and in the works soon, I should be able to make this ranking of worst state to fish look like a fool.
  19. Just recently purchased another rod as I'm rebuilding my arsenal. Thing is.. I've only got $70 left from my little fun I had built up and I need a few glides as I don't have any currently. SO, with that being said.. I've got $70 for whoever can give me the best deal. Really looking for things like 7" shine glides and swaver 200. Or if you have a big glide too and can give me a deal, I'll take it! Thanks for the help guys! 765-978-8170 for fastest response
  20. Caught a handful of fish today on the savage gear bluegill, but only one was picture worthy. Was able to watch her eat it at the end of a weedline. Pretty sick.
  21. ''Tis the time of the month for the sub, I headed out today, confident as can be, knowing I have 2 places that hold fish that could win the sub any month. With that being said, my boat recently got stolen so I couldn't really access the fish in my favorite pond. So I bought my first pair of waders. Got out toward the edge of the weeds, (same thing I used the boat for since it's a small pond) and first impression was seeet. I can do the same thing with my waders as with my boat, I'm set. Make a few casts. Move. Make a few casts, then decide to walk about 50 yards, only to get stuck in silt and mud to my knee, lose my balance, and fall in, completely submerging myself. Worst part.. phone and digital scale are in my pocket, also underwater. The only good news of the whole story, my phone and scale still work. Bad news, I left after 20 minutes to make sure my phone still worked. Pond: 1 Johnny:0 and still.. no fish to submit for this months sub either. You guys ever had any similar experiences?
