Hello, I'm a High School student who has used a majority of this school year to create a project based around the issues involving Fish Farming. I thought this forum would be a great place to look for feedback and to reach out to a community of individuals who I think is pretty safe to say eat seafood. I have designed a "suspended collections system" which is an attachment under the cage that is used to collect the waste that falls through the bottom of the cage. You can check out my design at https://filteredfarming.weebly.com/. Eutrophication and Dead Zones under these aquaculture cages are a growing problem that is detrimental to the surrounding ecosystem. It can create holes of oxygen uninhabitable for native fish life. Aquaculture is one of the fastest growing industries in modern day. And not only does it affect the sustainability of the industry but it affects the quality of your fishing. Just to clarify this is not for any financial gain or personal benefit, this is just a school project. Any feedback and interaction would be greatly appreciated if you could please fill out a brief survey and visit my website that would be a big help. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSextaj23EiBo3ozCqVXToPmW6qNSMB3XJeCJf8W4ZvItTPzOA/viewform?usp=sf_link

the bubbles are just a result of that guy taking the bait out of the clear coat too soon that's it. User error. You kind of have to let it soak a bit

Basswood is also the easiest to carve by a long shot but its one of the most expensive too -

dont worry about the screw eyes if you can get a hand drill and some stainless steel wire to make your eyes it will be cheaper in the long run. Also if you're gonna get a carving specific knife #2 blade are hell of a lot easier to work with instead of #11 -
its such a giant bait you're probably better off going with the bottom hook anyways, when you watch fish swipe at bigger glide baits they almost always hit it from the bottom, also the bottom hook roman made is what they use exclusively in the roman made finder volumes
