    I have the rod. I've been using it for the past year or so. Anything above 4 ounces will be pushing it hard. It says med fast but it feels like a giant crank rod with a moderate action. It works well with trebles but single hook baits are a little tough unless you run braid. Good sensitivity and the handle is the perfect length. 8 inch hudd would be pushing it but doable with a lob cast.

    Hey SU. I've been fishing my cardiff 300 for a bit now and started to wonder if there is any benefit to having a low profile reel. I know that it's personal preference for palming the reels, but how about casting distance? Will a Lexa 300/Curado 300/EXO 300 outcast a cardiff or round reels in general? Would like some feedback from your experience. Thanks!
