  1. I'll try and find out it's a united composite custom made blank for wahoo. The blank is not in stock in their factory they make them to order.
  2. I throw the mother chaser which is 22oz sometimes all day on a custom built rod wahoo blank by united composites.handles it effortlessly and is minimaly fatiguing to throw. It still gets you sore after all day but nowhere near what some rod off the shelf would put you through.
  3. Question 1: the best part about fishing is there is no rules. There is no line...the possibilities are endless. The way our larger baits are designed (13"+ baits) being most are semi rigid or completely solid and the fact that they have hooks makes it impossible for a largemouth to truly eat the entire bait. Your goal if your fishing baits this big isnt to limit yourself to a bait that can be manageably swallowed. What I find is that most of the time they attack it the same way they would a massive trout. They pummel it to death headshotting it tail shotting it until it becomes too weak to swim and gets stunned or panics or dies to where they can easily swallow it. Or they sit in a perfect ambush spot in a funnel where the trout come to them and they catch them off guard and can slurp them up if you place the bait in the correct spot they will try and eat it. Your not aimlessly casting if your looking to hook and land fish on baits this big. If your doing aimless casts your just looking to find fish maybe? Or going on a sight seeing tour? 95% of the time when I cast a bait like the chaser I'm almost certain I set my bait up to be in the perfect funnel or the most opportunistic place for a bass to eat it and I'd say most of the time I end up seeing a positive response in my key areas. (Question 2): Yes! Here in socal they stock my home lake from a farm called Mt lassen. Those trout are massive 3lb average I'd say. You see largemouth pinning them against bluff walls and sometimes open water on the surface and can place your bait there and get bit most of the time if you catch the timing correctly. They can easily and do easily eat the trout that big. A 13" deadtwitch is on the smaller side of the stocked trout (Question 3): that's up to where and how you place your bait in my opinion if your presentation is perfect and your bait placement is perfect you will be able to illicit a bite or positive response rather than a look. I've hooked up to many fish on the chaser and only missed them because I think the baits just so big and heavy and easy to toss plus I was using some thick gauge hooks that I've since changed so we will see what happens now.
