Thanks man, I will eventually sell some. Probably way too cheap but it’s not about money, just so I can make more.

This is why we make baits.

Had a crazy night last night. Went to a spot that’s usually good for some small fish when I just want to get bit. Took out Only baits I made, two of my crappie wakes and some rats. Well I never took the crappies off. First cast was this 4lbr. Bunch of small fish in between then stuck this stout 5lbr. Bunch more small ones and switched to the Shart-truse 4 piece. Missed a munch of short strikes then got smashed. End of a long cast and knew it was a good one. Head shakes and bull dogging. Got her up and she was a stud. 22” and mid 6. This is why I make baits.

Drill your master where you want your pin, then cast the master with the pin in it. If you take the pin out soon after demolding you don’t need release but it does make it easier. This is my master

Not to hijack a thread but how do you keep microballoons in slow set resin?

Hey SU, remastered the soft bait crappie and made it a hardbait. I molded a 3 piece and a 4 piece, also made a 1-off billed 2 piece wake. Threw some paint last night to try and match a local crappie. Love the swim on these. IMG_2831.MOV

HMU if you want more info on 3D print to molding. Made a few baits this way.

Just a note on my bait. It can be a smaller 2 piece. The ss pins aren’t glued so whoever picks it can chose what they like and glue them. Rings are 60lb owner -
Last day! Let’s goooo! Definitely haven’t seen all the baits yet so I will donate another new bait to make sure everyone gets one if needed.

Yeeew, loving the swim of this bait. Slow, medium, burn. IMG_2684.MOV

So going with this one, dyed resin, definitely not perfect but I would fish it and think it will get bit. I will let the person choose if they want a smaller 2 piece or the full size or I can send it all and they can glue the pins in.

Hey guys, so working in public health during this outbreak has taken all of my time and I won’t be able to get the gill I had shown ready in time. However I have a few different options. Thinking of putting in my rat instead. Works as a 7” long 3 piece or a rad little 5.75 2 piece. My question is do you want it painted or dyed resin like a bullshad bait?
-
Painted some up trying to match a local crappie. Came out sick.
-
Yeah, they are a similar shad profile. I kept the fins off and details different because I didn’t want to rip that off. It’s wild how different the swim is though

Hey Guys, been making bunch of hardbaits so I tried something new, this and the crappie are my softbaits. Pretty basic shad/generic profile. Deep hook pocket. 8/0 weighted beasts. They have a ton of body roll and skip like crazy- gets me excited to pitch it deep under structure. The silver and gold will be painted in a crappie pattern. IMG_2440.MOV

For some reason I’m not getting notifications from SU. So I redesigned the tail and have been welding it on to test. Really like the swim but it blows out at higher speeds so I’m tuning it. Also molding the harnessed treble hook version. The kick on the drop is great. IMG_2180.MOV IMG_2179.MOV

The whole weighted beast is poured inside.
