Hey y’all. I’ve designed what I believe is an amazing lipless wake and crank. I need help learning to paint these and once I’ve painted them, learning the whole clear coat world is wild. Right now I’m using an iwata eclipse with a smart jet compressor. If I need a new gun and other hardware for spraying clear coats I can get them. But I need more guidance on getting a lot better at the painting aspect of this. All help is welcome. Once I can get the paint down I’ll be posting my whole build thread from start to finish and including swim vids and all. Thank you

When I’m molding my prototype I lose a lot of detail. I’m using mold star fast and my bait has clear and crisp lines. A Highly detailed body. I’m trying to figure out the best and highly recommended methods to utilize when making the mold. I’m having trouble when pouring the bait as well. I think it may come from the trouble with the molds I’ve been having to get the accuracy. I have tried pouring the resin in the mold and when I do I happen to get a lot of bubbles in the body showing up even when I primer them. Please help me in figuring out and learning how to mold and pour baits with success. Thank you

Hey man! Yea there are air vents and the molds fit flush. I am injecting a silicone actually that’s pretty firm it’s just difficult to get it in there without it coming out from other sides even when it is clamped and my air holes work fine. Could I be applying too much pressure? thanks for the help man
