The guy is very busy and usually does all his own shipping so sometimes it takes him a while. He explains all that on his Facebook. I was wondering the same so i did some digging.

I would say research a bait a bit before buying it. Stick with proven names for sure. So far the only "cheaper" swimbaits i have found that actually perform and are durable are the savage gear ones. Other then those i haven't found any that perform or last in a lower price range. So be prepared to invest some coin on quality ones, in the long haul you will be glad you did.

I've caught them for years on the smaller swimbaits like big EZs and Mann's hard-nose. But my first one on a "real" swimbait came right before Xmas last yr. Killed them on traps and cranks one day then the very next day i couldn't get bit to save my life! So having given up i decide to tie on a savage gear line through shad I've had in my box for a while. More or less just to see the action and play with it. So i pitch it to a weed line with mixed in pads. I reel for about 4 seconds trying to bring it closer to the surface so i can see the action. Then i just see a white flash roll sideways and a huge splash. Scared the crap out of me actually, lol. I didn't even set the hook just kinda reeled fast and managed to land a nice 4.5lb LM. ....... True story ✋ -
Yeah i took advantage of their president's day sale since Tackle Warehouse didn't have one. I might just have to bite the bullet on the hard gill. Or some ultimate gills.....

Guys, what's the preference of the hard gill vs the ultimate soft gill? Is it just that the hard baits last longer? I'm about to order some gill baits and can't decide..... -
Do these cost more directly from him? I noticed them for much less on monster but they're sold out. What i really want is the strong shad right now!
