Would recommend a mike bucca bull shad or bull gill, bull gill is a confidence lure for me.

These would be put on an islide 185 with 20lb test

I've got a quick question about split rings that won't take too much input. I picked up these vmc line tie split rings in a tear drop shape and I wanted to know if I could use them for hooks, I need split rings for hooks and wasn't sure if these would work. I don't have any other kind right now and if I don't have to I dont want to pay $2 for some on tw and have to pay $6 shipping. Any input would be appreciated.

Bought a lure from him, quick communication and shipped fast, wouldn't hesitate to buy another off him.

So Ken posted this on instagram, I'd like to hear what everyone thinks about them. I know for sure I'll be getting one. He said that they come in 8 and 10 inch size

Not sure if you saw my post in the underground, but I finally beat the slump and started catching toads again. This was on the bull gill and I was running it on the top, as soon as it hit it I could tell it was a toad. Biggest adrenaline rush I've had in a while!

Thanks guys, and Harrison if you're relatively close I'd be interested in linking up sometime!

Spring fishing was great for me this year, I live in Indiana and this spring they were eating everything I was throwing out there... as spring transitioned to summer they stopped wanting the swimbait so bad. This is my first year throwing big swimbaits so maybe I just need to figure them out myself. I was just wandering what all you other Midwesterners were throwing this summer and if you are catching any on the swimbait. Any feedback is appreciated!

I live in Indiana too, fishing isn't terrible, but the DNR should definitely improve their stocking program.

Hopefully not TOO expensive. I'd also be interested in seeing Kens take on a wooden bluegill!

Congrats, hope I can catch one that big someday
