  1. Personally, if im around cypress trees then anytime is a good time to throw a rat. if theres no cypress trees then i only throw a rat when water level has risen reccently.
  2. Looking for 1 or 2 depending on price. Any color or condition hit me up
  3. Lookin for 25 and 50 size spro rats and a cl8 possum. Rash doesn’t bother me
  4. i had planned to but never worked him like i shouldve, spent too much time fishing and didnt hunt as much when he was growing up. his mom and dad are both state champ masters. now that hes older and im hunting alot more i rather not force him into it. I will breed him and take one of his males and train him for retrieving and pointing.
  5. Reminds me of back when my boy was that small. Good times, don’t miss him eatin all my socks and drop chords tho
  6. Interested to see if anyones had any paintwork done on them
  7. I would like to announce that after decades and decades of rigorous, hazardous and dangerous scientific studies spanning across the galaxy, i have concluded that the shimano cardiff does in fact have internal brakes. I never thought it had brakes only a tension knob, watched a video on youtube after you guys said you had brakes turned on, took the side plate off and wouldnt you know all of my brakes were off.
  8. I have both the Calcutta B 400 and Corvalus 300, which I love both tremendously after a handle upgrade. I got a cardiff 400 some time back as a back up reel and found myself with an extra rod so I started throwing it. If you asked me to price them low to high I’d say cardiff corvalus calcutta. My cardiff backlashes terribly even with adjustment. Other wise you have to thumb the hell out of it and that kills your distance and sometimes still backlashes. I hear tons of praise for this reel so maybe I just got a dud but as of right now I love the corvalus way more than the cardiff, Cast’s better, narrower, lighter, and somehow still cheaper. to everyone who loves the cardiff, thoughts?
  9. The XSS version is more of a heavy float. I generally will fish the explorer over the antidote unless I’m around spotted bass. Mainly using the slow sink with some lead tape under the belly. I really would like to try quads on it since it’s mainly a spotted bass bait for me, I think that would help a lot for hookups, but as far as Caidence and performance I love it as a smaller glide.
  10. Update, after looking around to see compatible reels and trial and error, Calcutta 400B parts fit perfectly
