  1. I’ll let the video speak for itself but IMO the hammertails are a year round bait, can’t go wrong with picking a few up for yourself. Only complaint is when the do get smacked pretty good they tend to rip so make sure to have some mend it ready 1CDE94DD-5950-4488-92DC-3A201AEFFD68.MP4
  2. Hey y’all, looking for a wake trout to try out, if anyone has one to sell lmk. Thank you!
  3. Went out today with the hopes of sticking a tank today. Started the day throwing the 3 pc pats to no avail. Targeted shallow, deep, structure, nothing. ended up bouncing around lakes until we stumbled across this 150 acre pond in the middle of no where. THE SECOND CAST, I find a nice line of tulles with a lay down right in the middle (mind you old beds are everywhere and sun fish are stacked on top of each other) so I throw my mattlures hammer tail parallel to the edge, as soon as I pass the lay down I give two hard rod twitches with a pause.....BOOM!! Biggest of the day today went 5.2. Here are some pics 02CED8E1-DA78-41AE-9F68-F829F05D57D8.MP4 35A2C079-B2B6-41FB-B710-6A375B13BFBD.mov
  4. Thanks everyone, ended up going yesterday and was a particularly difficult day. Post front conditions followed by bluebird skies and 30mph winds made for some pretty rough boating. Bass seemed like they didn’t want to bite all day however my buddy and I made the exec decision to Try our luck and travel about 7 miles north and ended up finding about 6 smallies on beds, we ended up throwing finesse by the end of the day however I did stick 2 smallies on a 68 special bed flipping. All fish were returned to the bed seconds after they were caught, defiantly plan to go back when conditions aren’t as extreme. I definitely felt overwhelmed by the side of the lake I had no idea where to fish, and not having a fish finder as well felt like a suicide mission for failure. Any tips on how to fish a large lake like that?
  5. Hey y’all, going to take a trip out to the Quabbin later this week, just wanna know if anyone’s been up there this year and how has it been? I don’t want any spots or what to use as bait, just looking to see if it’s worth my time to take a trip. thanks, Ryan
  6. Hey y’all, for the past few weeks I’ve been really putting in some time on the water for the night bite. I’ve been throwing the slammer, SPRO rat, pats, basically if you can wake it I’ve thrown it prolly. I’ve found that basically all the fish are in anywhere from 1-4 ft of water, sounds great right? unfortunately all of the lakes around here are starting to get choked up with weeds so it’s getting harder and harder to throw up into shallow cover with treble hooked baits. Looking for any ideas on what is a good night time bait that’s not gonna get me snagged up every cast. Tight lines everyone! -Ryan
  7. Looking to trade my toxic slob, basically brand new I threw it twice. Just not the type of bait that’s gonna get eaten rn with this cold water up north. Looking to trade for other wakes Or a mag gill. Thanks y’all!
  8. LDC White label 8’ 3” XH Shimano tranx In 7:5:1 Custom wrapped 3pc pats
  9. Threw it on 3 different trips, no bites plus I have one in a more productive color. Looking to trade for a big hater , 9” MS Slammers, toxic slobs,
  10. Looking to see what I can get for sale or for a trade. Is lightly used ( has hook rash ) but overall in great condition. Bluegill finish, Comes with stock hooks and original box. I cant upload pictures for some reason ( I know I'm pissed too) so shoot me a text (fo4r o1ne thre3 - 4our six 4 - thr3e ei8ht 9 onE). I will respond probably within the half hour. Things i'm looking for in a trade in priority: 1: 316 perch workhorse or tbh any workhorse just as long as its not a funky color 2: 316 Armageddon 3: og 250's in bluegill or stocker trout plus a little cash depending on condition 4: pats (probably a stretch here) 5: Toxics Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience with no pics, tried to be as descriptive as possible. I promise I will respond as soon as I can. All the best, tight lines!
  11. If you're looking for a pats my suggestion would be to put up a post in one of the Facebook forums with what you're looking for and turn the comments off, just because of the people with the smart ass comments about how impossible it is to get a pats. IMO that would be your best shot. Good luck bud.
  12. Couldn’t begin to say how happy I am someone from MA won the challenge! Some monsters in Bassachusetts! Big congrats to @Sciaramitaro on a fish of a life time
  13. Hell yeah man, just got one for my bday and it handles everything like a pro, treble hooked baits are better for this rod and I don’t like anything above 6 oz for this rod but that’s just personal preference.
  14. Absolutely broken hearted when it came to this one. I replaced my scales batteries before I went out tonight, turns out the new batteries were duds:(. guess 4.5 to 5 at the max on the scale if it worked, caught on a Phoney frogs glide Shad in gill color, thanks again @SumoNinja for the lucky bait . Caught in Williamstown MA
