  1. The head reminds me of an evergreen es flat glide. Idk if they made multi joints
  2. My hero 5 doesn't have this issue. I wonder if it's the brand u got....
  3. If I'm not mistaken the xh was built around the deps 250. My guess is it can throw the ship but probably xxh would be more ideal.
  4. @captainhookset I believe fishes them. Maybe he can chime in I had one for like 2 yrs, never tied it on. Traded it to the captain iirc
  5. Yea I'm just lazy lol. Been using ta clips for about 5 yrs now. I still have the same packs I bought 5 yrs ago. They never fail and they don't weaken. Not any I've used. There are a couple minor nuisances. They can foul the line and hooks once in a while. Not a big deal. And because some bait makers use thicker line ties than others, you'll have to use a bigger clip on those baits because the smaller clips won't receive the bait as easy. They will also have a minor affect on sink rate. It's never been an issue to me though The bait swapping convenience and their strength outweigh anything else for me. The few guys that started using them from my recommendation has liked them and use them regularly
  6. Anyone got a hinkle shad they'd trade? Hit my inbox. Thanks My rad is used, has a couple minor paint chips that's been sealed. And it looks like the lip had been reinstalled at one point. That's the condition I got it in. It's solid and performs like it should If you're newer u ship first
  7. The number of dds caught has for sure gone down I would say. It's not uncommon to see a dd pulled, but it's not easy. Local sticks do it every year. I'd like to know what the plants were like 10 plus years ago though. My home lake hasn't had a trout plant in like 3 yrs. Surrounding lakes still get them though
  8. What we don't have is a breeding program. Our big fish just grow the way they do naturally. Would be nice to collect and control some breeding to pass on those monster genes to release the offspring
  9. Idk how it was before but from November to March we get trout anywhere from weekly to monthly depending on the lake/park. 500 lbs up to 3000 lbs per plant
  10. We still get trout plants every year all over SoCal in lakes and park ponds
  11. I honestly would love california to do a program like this too. We have the environment to grow a world record. In fact we had the biggest ever recorded. I'll worry about how dumb they are after they're in my waters
  12. I've caught two 9s within the last year myself. Just few oz shy. Keep at it man. We'll get it one day
  13. The painter did however glue the wrong tail to the glide. The light colored tail is meant for the glide. It's stiffer and shaped different. So I had to swap the tails myself, no biggie.
  14. Finnbait customs. He did a pretty killer job
  15. Pretty similar, but not. Lol I know that doesn't make sense. I just got this from paint so I don't have too much experience with it yet. I do feel that it looks different in the water. At least that was my initial thought. Feels like it's more stable when fished aggressive. The tail on the gill is a little different and slightly stiffer, maybe that has something to do with it. And to be honest I don't even have a ton of time into my 7" shad glide either, though I had it for longer. Glides were never really my thing for bass.
  16. Thanks man, I haven't had it long but so far so good. 1-3 oz is accurate. From a tk to ufo is great. Personally if i go any heavier than a ufo I'd go to the mh. Probably don't want to throw a heavier crankdown on it since it's softer, being a ml. As u can see it loads all the way to the bottom guide practically
  17. Post spawner ate the bgc slim gill glide right in front of me. Barely cranked the handle a couple times before I flipped her. I've never been a glide guy, but my confidence has been rising on em. Excuse the 2 part video. Gopro splits my videos after a certain amount of minutes in its recording. Just happened to be in mid retrieve GOPR0004_1686000921516.mp4 GP010004_1686000476720.MP4
  18. Thanks man, I'm happy I got it on video. It's probably the best blowup I've ever had
  19. Love seeing stripes on a gill swimbait. Congrats
  20. Yes, bending the line tie. When I first got mine it was very subtle and I only noticed when I burned it did I see it was going to one side. I also used to have a little Johnny rat that would wash out when I sped up and it was tracking to one side also. Quick tune and it was good
  21. Does your mink tend to swim to its right or to its left? Might just need tuning. I don't see how 1x to 3x hooks should affect it if it runs true. It definitely should not roll. I can burn mine hard and it runs true
  22. Baits are all SOLD Thanks underground
