I think a 908 can do all 3. It casts a 250 fine, and can cast a hinkle trout and ghost just fine. A mother is just about identical in weight as a hinkle trout I believe. So personally if I only brought a ghost, mother and 250 out on a trip, the only rod I'd bring is a 908. Only thing I'd do different is use a 400 size reel

Go to the pb, sutv or gotem sections and compliment/congratulate people on their catches. Easy 5 posts

I prefer the xxh myself, but a xh would be fine too This fish was on the xh

Personally, 3 oz baits and under, 15 lb izorline xxx.

Nez medium size and micro mink are great beginner rats and can find them under retail on the market I'd suggest one that can wake and crank

That is pretty crazy. I've been debating back n forth on how much I wanna put into it. For sure I want a good fish finder, I just don't know if I will utilize livescope enough to justify the purchase. But thanks for the input. I do like the idea of seeing bait balls in real time and really pin point their location. Especially if they're on the move either on their own or being chased by predators

You're using livescope without a spotlock motor? I figured u couldn't take advantage of all the features of livescope if u couldn't stay still. This is the reason I don't think to get one, other than for trolling. Am I wrong for thinking this way? How is the livescope using it only with the pdl?

That's awesome chef, congrats to u and the boys. Keep em into it. It's an awesome thing you're doing, and not just the fishing part. But being a positive male role model to them

Thick and healthy, congrats

Congrats dude. That's a fatty

Many would say a squeak is better. Especially one that was developed over time Me personally I never mess with the joints

That's awesome, congrats dude

I had it on my workshop ml, then put it on the mh. Both feel great

Thanks for the tag, unfortunately I can only speak on the workshop. Idk if they're the same blank. But the xxh workshop throws the ship no problem. I have 25 lb izorline xxx on the rod spooled to a Calcutta 301. But I have to say, the mothership is my only ufo I've not been bit on yet. So I can't speak to the fight. But casting it is fine. I know a guy chucking the ship on a workshop xh and he's caught fish on that rod. Imo the xxh is more ideal for it. Unless I'm wrong though, the standard is supposed to be more moderate? You'd have to verify that.

Being ghosted for a month is pretty bad. What did u pay with? PayPal ff? If u payed g&s, just file the claim and move on. If u paid ff, go to your bank or credit card that was used, tell them that u bought something and it never delivered. They should take it from there. I was scammed once years ago paying ff. I skipped going to PayPal because they won't help u if u sent it ff. But I went to my credit card company and they gave me a temporary refund. They then contact the seller to get proof that the item shipped or got delivered. Of course the scammer has no proof, so my refund went from temporary to a permanent refund. That was the only time I ever got scammed paying with ff and that's what worked for me. Then give an honest feedback of your experience on the seller's feedback and contact the su staff so they're aware of what happened. In the future, try to buy only from solid reputable members or else don't use ff. If someone has little to no feedback, only pay gs or check for references first. Usually a reputable person who knows them will vouch. If all else fails, just pass. There will always be other baits. Good luck to u bro

1 month and ghosted? Trade or did u buy something? @Elijahsok

I have his little gramps, uncle Joe and big gramps. I throw the big grandpas on an xp 867, 30 lb izorline xxx. The unc and little are thrown on ldc xxh workshop, 25 lb test. 20 lb test would be fine too, but like u, I mainly target striper, so I beef up the line because I'm hoping I'd get bit by a 20+ lber

I believe it's the line tie placement and flat bottom that allows it to ride up on the surface versus digging into the waves. I think if you're looking for a silent walker they fit what you're looking for. Of course too much chop will ruin any walking bait but these fair a little better in some minor to moderate chop
