    Looking to get rid of some baits, grad school takes up most of my time so swimbait fishing has been put on the back-burner for now. If you'd like more pictures or have questions about a lot of baits please message me, willing to be flexible. Mattlures Hardgills - dark gill is a heavy floater and the other two are slow sink, they've only seen the water for a swim test. $65 TYD each or $180 for the lot Gan craft 178 slow sink - This one has seen some fish, some teeth marks and hook rash - $50 TYD Deps new style 175 - It was nude black but i removed most of the paint, looks pretty cool in the water, swim tested - $55 TYD OG deps 250 in bloody carp - I don't have the box but it is brand new.     Hey guys, Tested out a new slide swimmer 175 (new style) I got earlier this week and it just swam straight in on the retrieve, didn’t glide at all. Couldn’t figure out why, so I cut off the feathers on the trebles and it swam flawlessly. How do you guys fish the slide swimmers with feathers? I like tho look of them in the water but just could not get the bait to swim with them on...

    I saw someone on YouTube run acetone on the skin to remove the paint. Is there another way you’d recommend or is that the way to go?

    Do you need to remove the skin to place the suspend strip? Or do you place it in that little nitch when the skin is on?

    Anyone ever use this color with good success? Looks really cool but I have never seen a Jet black fish swimming through the water!

    Thanks! Here at UF, there isn't too much opportunity with bigger baits from shore since everything is basically a swamp in Gainesville. I'm saving the bigger stuff for back home up north! I also have a place down in south florida and now that i'm thinking about it the possibilities seem endless

    Hey SU community, I am 19 and currently in college down in florida, trying to save as much money as possible leading up to the black Friday sale for Tacklewarehouse. In your opinions, what are some baits that are worth saving up for? Should I save up to buy the deps 250 if I want one good quality glide bait? Should I spend my money on only a few baits or should I get a wider variety of baits? I know my order will have huddlestons in it but in terms of hard baits I am a little lost. I do want one or two real nice baits that won't bankrupt me Thanks!

    Can the 806 throw baits in the low end of its rating effectively such as a mattlures hardgill or Gan Craft 178?

    Personally I don't have experience with either one but I have heard people raving about the dobyns fury 806 (Heavy Swimbait). I'm interested to see the responses from other members.
