Looking for some advice here. I'm just getting into swimbaits and want a wallet friendly rod and reel to make sure I'm into it before I spend the big dollars. A multipurpose rod would be great. Some thing I can throw glides, multijointed, Hudds, and topwaters on. Right now I have S-Waver 168s, Hudd 68 Specials, Spro BBZ-1 6", Spro 50 rat, and a 7" slammer, but would like to have the ability to throw these and eventually move up to the heavier baits. So far I'm looking at the Dobyn's 785 or 806, Daiwa DX, 13 Fishing Defy Black, or the Savage Gear Browser rods. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. If anyone wants to help a budget minded, family man out with some used gear they have for sale that would be great.
