    7" Citizen

Stuck this lovely lady on a white 7" citizen. Talking to local anglers can be the most important thing you can do as an angler. Talk to the people who are doing it right. Chatting with the local swimbaiters in my area has been key to my success. I had never had confidence in soft plastics I've always seen them fished crept along the bottom, that doesn't work everywhere. I was told to fish them like a jig/spinner Bait. I skipped the bait under some cover into brush/timber let it sink, gave it a couple pops and as soon as I started my retrieve I got thumped! She choked the bait couldn't see it when she breached, she jumped straight into my net and the citizen flew out of her mouth. I appreciate the people that have helped me piece this bass puzzle together.

    PB on the 250

What a tank nice work! I had a couple buddies with me on the water I'm lucky enough to have had someone with me for every giant I've caught. I just give one of them my phone and tell them to just start snapping pics later on I go through and pick the best to do a little cropping and editing. You look like you're doing a damn good job with that selfie stick. I will be picking up a mirrorless camera and a wide angle lens paired with a small tripod very soon. If I'm ever alone I'll be able to set up a shutter timer with a remote and I'll be ready to document a catch with much higher quality than my phone.

    PB on the 250

Appreciate it sir! River fishing for us around my area is the best way to find our biggest fish. We're still in the swing of summer 100° days are still the norm can't wait for the 2 months of falls/winter we get.

    PB on the 250

I've began to dedicate my time to a specific body of water. I've mentally noted spots I've had potential pb's show themselves. I've avoided unproductive water where I don't usually see a fish over 4lbs. I have learned all of these big girls are holding in specific conditions down the stretch of the river run, I'll make a few casts to a spot if someone shows themselves but won't eat I'll hit it again on the way back. As I've pieced this puzzle together I've been lucky enough to pb again! She went 24" 7lbs 8oz also making her my first sharelunker.
  8. You'll get it brother, it took me over a year of strictly swimbait fishing to break the 6lb mark, then I did it twice in a month in the middle of the afternoon in 100 + degree weather. Miracles do happen.
  9. You know I do man! Been getting my ads kicked by the sun all summer but its paying off!
  10. Over 100 the day I caught this fish. I wasn't expecting to get such a tank mid day, cranked the riot through some slack water behind some boulders and a dead cypress tree watched this lovely lady run out and crush it. I was in such a panic I boat flipped her not knowing she was nearing 7lbs!!! Very memorable catch I have been strictly swimbait fishing for about a year and a half it felt great to crush the 6lb mark she went 6.14
  11. It's amazingly terrifying lmao I get trigger happy occasionally and set too soon.
  12. Thanks man! Can't go wrong with a nucanoe
