  1. Bunch of baits that don’t really make it into the lineup too often for me. Most are in like new condition aside from the tk and mags. Pretty firm on price here as most of these are like new and priced below retail however I will drop the price if buying multiple baits. PayPal preferred, fnf or g&s and add 4% for fees. Not interested in trades. Thanks for looking, feel free to pm with any questions or for more pics. BGC 7” shad glide - Thrown a maybe 3 times, swims great and could pass as new. 120$ DRT Joker - Has some rash but still in good shape. I don’t have extra tails for it but I have a couple lips that I’ll throw in. 70$ TK - used and abused. Have a few extra lips and tails I’ll throw in. 70$ Spro Chad - thrown a few times. 30$ Toxic Whippersnapper WAKE ONLY VERSION - this is the waking version with the reverse bent lip. Thrown maybe 4 times that I can recall, has a small ding in the paint on one side. 110$ DD/Scumline gill lipless wake - Basically new. Has a toxic tail but will include tails that came with it. 130$ Hawghunter Mags Light and Dark Trout - used and abused but still swim and look great. Rigged with single strand wire and St 56s. 80$ for both not looking to split up.
  2. Also in Northern California and have never had much success with larger shad profile baits (glides, softies etc). The threadfin are so tiny here it seems like the best match is a zoom fluke or a 2.8 keitech hahaha. Seemingly a larger gizzard shad type profile could get bit under the right conditions and with a proper presentation but like I said it’s something I’ve never had success with and I have tried it a bit. However it worth noting that there is a substantial migration of American shad on the sac and American rivers in the spring, looks like the striper guys do pretty good on the big shad profile glides. Curious to see if anyone else chimes in here @SwingAway because I’ve often wondered the same thing about bigger shad baits around here…..
  3. Not an app but try the national weather service. Weather.gov is what I check and it’s usually pretty spot on.

    Megadog fish

Nice largemouth. Also in NorCal caught my pb striper on the Megadog
  5. Looking for an OD rat reg, specifically darker colors. Black, Black w/ red or yellow head, dark brown… will take a look at whatever ya got.
  6. +1 on the Sly 6.2”. One of the most productive baits for me last summer/early fall. Hookup percentage is no issue 10/10 some of the most aggressive bites I’ve gotten they bite like they’re trying to kill it.
  7. Every preorder I’ve gotten on it’s usually been about 3-4 weeks. Last preorder he did late November I got my 10.5” and 11” in about 3 weeks….
  8. First bass in the new yak thanks to the coveted three piece hoggs
  9. If it isn’t too late, I’d love to get in on this. I’m in Northern California.

Def not a bad glide for the price. Also worth mentioning that they’re more of a slow wide glide, doesn’t seem like you can get too aggressive or “chop” them or else they blow out. Not sure how you prefer to fish a glide for calico but something to keep in mind as well. Tight lines.

    First of the year

    Thats a hoss right there
  12. Count me in @BigOPigSlayer super generous on your behalf. I’m sure you’ll have plenty of big fish karma coming your way.

Not gonna get into some of the controversy around the 12” glide he made but the 9” glide was one of my first “expensive” swimbaits I bought when I was getting started. Caught tons of great fish including my pb on it. Not a bad bait for the price haven’t fished any of their other stuff though….
  14. Thanks for the input. Have gotten used to fishing glides with reel bumps and this is actually the first larger size Hiro that I’ve owned so that’s good to know.
  15. Didn’t seem to. It really didn’t want to go one side or the other. Constant slow retrieve it kind of awkwardly swims and with 1/4 or 1/2 turn reel bumps it noses down and washes out. I’m sure the tail being slightly bent isn’t helping but it almost seems like there’s something funky with the joint but I might be wrong. Going to hit Brock up either way but just wanted to see if my rod/reel/line combination had anything to do with why it isn’t working right. Maybe overpowering the bait or something idk….
  16. Was just thinking about this. Tail was slightly bent when I received it and didn’t think much of it at the time but that could be the problem here.
  17. Took my 10.5 Hiro trout from the recent preorder out for a test swim today and couldn’t get it to swim right at all. It noses down, doesn’t really swim and DOES NOT glide at all. Reel bumps, slow constant retrieve, rod tugs I could not get it to do what I want it to. Tried tying to a split ring and snap and did not seem to make any difference, however did not try tying direct as I’m usually pretty averse to doing that with glides. Rod I was using was an LDC XXH and 20lb fc. Tried a lexa 400 6:1 and a Tatula 300 7:1 which didn’t seem to make a difference either. Anyways was just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience with this bait? Is it the gear I’m using or did I somehow get a dud? I’ve owned other Hiros and they swam great so I’m just a little disappointed. Thanks in advance for any info.
