Hahaha I hate when they bite the wrong rod had a 500lb bluefin eat our bait while we were yellowfin fishing a couple years ago finally landed it after 6 hours, a week later had the same thing happen got that one after 3 hours

Man that’s awesome to see, you gotta get a couple 130s and put out some live bluefish and macks and let a big girl tow you around for a while

Yeah man I’m living the good life hahaha. Where at in mass we got that 734 in Hyannis in October, 4 miles off the beach off chatham so you don’t have to go far for those all the other ones on your list you have to get out to the blue water

@bassturds Originally from philly but I work on a 68ft Viking in NJ and pretty much live on the boat now. I used to work on a charter boat, killed lots and lots of tuna over the years, definitely my favorite fish to target other than swords. Bluefin are fun till you fight one for 6 hours

My freshwater bucket list: 10lb peacock in the Amazon, arapaima, wolf fish, 10lb largie, sturgeon, alligator gar, 50” muskie saltwater: grander bluefin tuna(came close with a 734 this summer), blue marlin over 700lbs, big black marlin in Australia , 40+lb mahi, swordfish over 300lbs(got a couple in the 200s haven’t broken 3 yet), yellowfin over 150lbs with big beautiful sickles, big eye tuna on a jig(a jigeye as we call it), dogtooth tuna, GT, fluke over 10lbs(pb is 8.5), striped bass over 50lbs(pb is 48.6 soo close) bull redfish, tarpon, Goliath grouper, most of all though I want to win the White marlin open the largest billfish tournament in the world! here’s the 734 bluefin what a unit

The baby wake has made it to palm beach, can’t wait to go toss it around and hopefully get some fish on it!
