  1. If you owned 50 cars, how long would it take to have 100k miles each?
  2. Ha yea same experience a few years ago. His word is worth about as much as a grain of sand. Traded them all away - no room for that ugliness on my boat.
  3. Fair enough, enjoy your fishing trip!
  4. Kayaks bob around a lot and absorb impact of hookset; you may want to take it easy on hookset and possibly size up line if you’re used to fishing on kayak.
  5. “If you don't find a way to make money while you sleep, you will work until you die.” -Warren Buffet, still working at age 91
  6. If I could only choose one.. I’d choose these two To fish: OG gill glide, mintiest swim of all time - looks impossibly close to dying gill on its last legs. Every retrieve is a ‘that thing is about to get smoked’ retrieve. To keep: prototype gill glide, love how clean the design is similar to Pizz or UFO

This is such a lazy take, pls don’t spoil SU with politics
  8. Yes there are 4x on 12’ and 6x on 14’. It’s worth noting that, at least on the 12’, they are a royal pain to live with. Tangle easily, bent eyes, and the rod you want is always somehow on the bottom. Only reason I haven’t added new vertical storage is that I like to keep my cast lanes open.
  9. Thanks. I carry 4 at most, two horizontal on my left, one vertical in built in tube on left, and one in my hand at all times. There’s a gap in the seat I use for re-rigging and landing. I’ve been a bank guy for ~30y so typically pack light 1 rod and suitable baits for conditions that I can throw on that one rod.
  10. Just finished my PA 12 build Went FPV Power for electricals; hatch-mounted 35AH (2x 17.5AH) batteries powering a single switch that everything's powered from: Important stuff: HDS Live 7" for chartplotter with Point-1 GPS, and a micro Power Pole: Other electrical goodies a hatch-mounted USB charger and deck lights, but don't really see myself using them.. easy add-ons after the primary work was done For main working area I kept it simple: pliers, a 25lb boga for getting a weight, and my MVP purchase: A TRASH CAN (cannot believe what a luxury this is, if you don't have one, get one.) For tackle management I went Yeti box because I already had one, it fits perfect behind seat, is waterproof, and holds 10x 3600 boxes with lots of room to spare. Finally built a small toolkit to service everything on the water plus a pair of mini bolt cutters if I get in 'treble'
  11. Re: Marine mat how so? Is the noise reduction that great? Any other benefits?
