  1. Hiroshima Gillrilla (comes with wrap) (used) - $165 SU x Kurouto Gillra 140 (test swam once) - $145 Lunker Punker G2 (barely used) - $25 If your're wondering why this post is up twice, I realized saying PM offers is irritating for both the buyer and seller To SU, if posting this twice violates anything, feel free to delete my previous post.
  2. Hiroshima Gillrilla (used) - PM offers SU x Kurouto Gillra 140 (test swam once) - PM offers Lunker Punker G2 (barely used) - $25 For both the Gillrilla and Gillra, I'm open to all offers. I'll let a few days go by and then sell it to the highest offer. All the baits can either be sold separately or together.
  3. Thanks guys! I'm itching to get back out. Probably will be another few thousand casts before my next one!
  4. Fish of 10,000 casts fell for the Tiny Klash! I was lucky enough to trick a PNW Tiger Muskie into eating the TK! I was fishing the bait over a bunch of submerged trees and after seeing 2-3 big follows I finally got one to commit! Super stoked on it! Second Tiger Muskie of my life and first one on a swimbait.
  5. From what I can decipher on the videos coming from DRT, it looks like they're using the bronze gamkatsu round bends, probably either all 1/0 or a front 2/0 and back two 1/0. If they're using something else, the round bends would probably still be a safe bet seeing as it's Butch's go to for the 250. That's what I will probably put on mine when it comes in the mail!
  6. wow... baits don't get much better looking than those!
  7. What's up SU, I am probably in a similar situation to most of you. At home, browsing the underground, wanting to be on the water, and wishing I had enough money to afford literally anything made by DRT. Well, I had an idea. Not sure what interest there will be but I thought I would throw it out there. It could be very interesting to create some sort of tracker, spreadsheet or market to track the prices of swimbaits. The site StockX does this for limited sneakers and I think something could work similarly for swimbaits. Prices could be determined through sales on the black market and after enough data in generated, users could see what the average price is for different baits. This could either include strictly BNIB or baits of varying condition which could be grouped based on their condition on a scale of 1-5. There would also be very high-end baits such as one of a kind repaints from people like @Bassjak_ or very small batch production baits or colors. What would make this more intriguing is that after there is a drop, this price would drop and people would understand that the older inflated price is no longer accurate. Hopefully this could counteract "flippers." Also, it would be a great bargaining tool within the black market. For the ever so popular "pm offers", the "market price" of the particular swimbait would give someone a good idea of what a fair price would be which would also eliminate most lowballers. Let me know what you think!
  8. Used Dobyns 795SB for sale. Ratings are MH Fast action 1-5 oz. I’ve had this rod for a few years and used it pretty heavily. The EVA foam handle shows some wear but the blank and guides are in perfect condition. Local pickup only in SAN DIEGO. Looks like it’s on sale on TWH for $97 so $50 feels fair.
  9. Looking for a Daiwa Pluton (right hand), pm me pics of what you have. Thanks!
  10. Hey SU, I work for a rod company that is starting to make their entrance into making swimbait rods and we are looking for swimbait fisherman with photography experience to test these rods. If you think you'd be a good fit for this, shoot me a dm! Tight Lines, Ira Waldman
  11. It's hard for me to imagine that a fish will ignore a 12" bait and then eat a 15" one. A mother seems plenty big and enough of a meal to entice the biggest bass in your lake. I doubt that an extra 3" will make the difference between a DD committing or not. But hey, why not? If someone wants to drop $850 to throw that, more power to them. But I don't think buying that will make your chances at hooking a DD any higher than throwing a 12" bait.
  12. Check the post that went live right before yours
  13. Well I am very late to this topic but I have a lot of experience with Edge rods and I believe I can speak on NFC blanks as well because Edge Rods are built on NFC blanks. I have the Swimbait 808 and I recently through my Deps 250 on it and although it was able to cast it, I felt undergunned. Keep in mind, that's a 6.6 ish oz bait on a rod rated up to 8 oz. I believe the sweet spot for this rod is 5.5 oz. I've heard talk of them making an 809 which is rated up to 10 oz but I believe it will be good with up to 7 oz baits. If anyone has questions about NFC or Edge Rods in regards to either different models or contact/ordering feel free to respond, start a new thread or contact me!
  14. I'm curious what the order of these pm's were, mine was 6:02
