  1. Got the crappie painted and also painted a purple gizzard which is probably my favorite paint that I’ve done so far. Every time I paint I remind my self I need to attempt to paint the pickerel again lol cm-chat-media-video-RECINOS.CHRIS~E7A3DF66-15F1-4713-AA34-F069B469AF0F.mov
  2. Ok now this an actual painted bone, It has a ton of pearl and hi lites that don’t show in the pics. Trying a crappie next hopefully it looks good!
  3. I painted up a green gizzard that is probably one of my favorite paints I’ve done it’s just so simple and clean, and also I painted a carp color that I've painted in the past
  4. Finally I got the video to upload. Here’s the c2c video, it’s pretty cool how I called it because I always tend to get bit when my brother is sitting down haha copy_01386D8E-E141-4530-9DC9-78097CF85E98.mov
  5. First trip out with the bone and it got chewed. Got this 8lb 7oz tank and had another about this size but she spit the bait. I have the c2c but it won’t let me upload it
  6. Raw resin just looks so clean till it doesn’t. I made this one a low float, so it can be fished over grass with ease.
  7. Hope everyone is a having a great day! It's been a real grind to get the Trutta to swim how I want it, now that I've got the swim dialed down i want to get these baits to get used by more fishermen. I gave away a good amount of baits and received good feedback from the anglers and the fish. With that being said l'm selling some baits at what I think is a reasonable price for a bait this size and new to the market. Thanks Specs- 9.5"/5oz/Slow sink/ Swiveling hook hangers/ 100bucks shipped sorry for the double post, idk why it posted before I finished IMG_3837.mov
  8. Hope everyone is a having a great day! It's been a real grind to get the Trutta to swim how I want it, now that I've got the swim dialed down I want to get these baits to get used by more fishermen. I gave away a good ambit of them to people that I thougth
  9. Here’s what I did with the purple resin gill. I like how she turned out
  10. Looks clean, especially for being straight out the mold
  11. Painted up another glide. This one is a light colored gill almost like a dirty water gill, at least that was what I going for. Also what color should I paint this purple resin one?
  12. I tend to have the heater on when I’m clear coating but this time I was too lazy to pull it out
  13. Some recent paint, painted up a dark trout with a gold back. Also tried to paint a shiner. Clear coat sure dose take a while to cure in colder weather lol. Had me nervous it wasn’t going to to cure. IMG_3604.mov
  14. Painted up the glide, it’s a little exotic but it looks cool lol. Hopefully it gets bit
  15. Finally got around to making the glide. For the first test it’s swimming alright, chops really well should be a good bait close to cover. I feel like most gill baits are fished next to cover so they really don’t need a super wide glide. How do y’all like to fish y’all’s gill glides? Wide glide or choppy? ps: it’s not uploading the swim vid idk why
  16. does anybody have an extra brown Varial bolt that you'd be willing to let go? Thanks
  17. Here’s my first bluegill paint in a long time. Like I mentioned I suck at painting gills but I still enjoyed it. Hopefully the next one better but for now this should bet bit. Glide next
  18. Thanks, I try to follow the same carving process from my other baits. And yea, I’m gonna make it into a glide too. Hopefully it has a nice action.
  19. Thank you everyone for the positive feedback, hopefully I can paint something up soon. Getting that little air bubble out of there is something I'm still trying to fix. I have vents near the eye but it always ends up having a bubble lol. It's all part of the process.
  20. Started the carving a while back but finally got around molding it this week. Made this the bait for the intention to fished in the local ponds. These ponds are loaded with gills so I went with the gill profile. For the first bait I made a wake, wakes tend to be easier to make, so I got a good action on the first try and got bit on it but it had my test tank hooks on so I didn't hook the fish lol. I’m gonna make a few adjustments and go out and test again. I’m gonna have to start practicing my gill paints soon because my bluegill paint sucks
  21. Update: I tried painting the pickerel, total disaster lol. I used masking fluid for the first time and I didn't turn out how I expected. So I cleaned the paint off and painted a few of "blood line" trouts. Its a trout with a dark red vein, dark green top with a lot of silver on the body to create a lot flash in the water. I'm giving one of these away on my ig @build.a.bait.workshop I have the most recent swim vid on there too. thank you 5f2e107dc01c44059760df4c3c959c90.mov
