The grip is a unique design and not for everyone - obviously the price point is inline with the level of labor and craftsmanship that goes into these rods as they have sold. These are true one off customs targeted at certain segment of the market. I have been buying Nameless Custom Rods for 4 years now and for me they’re simple the best “ performance swimbait “ rod out there. I recently started to chase hybrid stripers and after speaking to Justin he suggested a blank and a specific build for it and built me an absolutely amazing spinning rod - so for me its absolutely worth it to work with a true custom builder. The Van’s Grips may not be for you but I guess Justin decided to test the market and so far the market is saying “ YES “ with their hard earned dollars.

@brootalititties Trying to figure out a way to state that one is certainly not gripping a fishing rod as tightly as the hand;e bars of a dirt bike going 60 MPH. A smooth cast is never achieved with a tight grip and tense muscles - transfer the energy from your arms and let the rod do the work.

Had one eat at the boat and absolutely dogged me and dug hard. LOL Nameless Custom Rods easily kept her pinned !!!!! fefdd314a8d9481292c5075ed17c7927.mov

Tested out the new Nameless Custom Rods 710 EX and all I can say it takes the effort out of casting 10 oz baits for me. Light as a feather, loads up incredibly well, easily handles the Ghost and Illude Zombie XL. The shorter length is easier for me to swing in tight quarters and absolutely helps with accuracy which is key to me. In situations where I want crazy distance such as bomb casting over long tapering points it will absolutely blaze a 4 oz bait like a DRT K9. An absolute winner of a rod. I believe @chefchris will confirm all of this. IMG_1923.mov

Was lucky enough to get a 7” Shat from @Kyle Gracely to test and it absolutely got blasted the minute I got it unstuck from a log. 9666cad139d1435db7911860311b0b30.mp4

Incredible fish for our area - fish of that caliber don’t come easy especially on that lake. Congrats

Fought gusts to 40 mph in my lil tin boat and managed a few decent bass with @NJSwimbatslinger all on the Shat from @Kyle Gracely and as always on Nameless Custom Rods keep you eyes peels for the release of the 7” shat - for a smaller profile bait its git such a great glide and an absolutely perfect sink rate. I’ve decided to stop posting baits in most situations to avoid burning my own bite.

Thanks Chris - always with the kind words. I hope your doing well and we’re going to have to make it a point on getting out sometime this year.

Found a short but productive bite window today in North Jersey - sadly I dropped a dandy but it is what it is. As always Nameless Custom Rods doing work.

I just got back from TN and the weather down there had big swings on an almost daily basis, the weather reports are pretty much useless LOL As far as dealing with changing weather I basically just fish the weather I get and actually do pretty well post storm in blue bird skies and rising pressure. I just try to cover more water and really key in on what i think are prime spots - I’ll fish a few points and if I see no activity there I’ll try coves, bluff walls, inflows etc etc until I find what the fish are relating too and I pretty much stick with my confidence baits. One day when they said there was ZERO chance of rain - we got pounded by at least 5 fronts coming through that day - the next day it was blue bird skies and we moved 4 absolute giants that wouldn’t commit but i finally boated a medium IMG_1372.mov
