  1. I do not but @chefchris may have one
  2. Had another fun and productive day with good friend @NJSwimbatslinger throwing the 7” Shat from @Kyle Gracely - got a ghost fish, ate some cheesesteaks and laughed all day #enjoyinglife
  3. Went out with @NJSwimbatslinger yesterday to test some of the new offerings from Nameless Custom Rods and here’s his thoughts on the 710 EX rated 2 to 10 oz. if you’re near the north Jersey area holler at @NJSwimbatslinger or myself if you’d like to meet up and test some incredible rods - we have conventional as well as swim bait rods that handle baits from 1/4 oz to 10 oz. If you have IG reach out to either @Jim137a @vance_fishing_freak or @nameless_custom_rods and we’ll set up a time and get a rod in your hands that suits your needs. 3c5850555e744d6facdad7a8f2ac9a37.mp4

    Shat Eater

@Kyle Gracely markets his current line up of baits as “ finesse swim baits “ so I see the bass following standard sized big baits with no real interest into actually eating the bait I’ll throw the Shat and it’s obviously been effective. I look at Kyle’s baits as a “ bridge “ between conventional baits and “ full sized “ swim baits. Finally my 7” test bait was built / tuned as an XXS which for me is perfect - if I want to fish it over submerged grass or other cover it doesn’t hang up and if I need to get it a bit deeper in the water column I add lead strips or a tiny grenade weight. Oh and the glide for such a small bait is incredible

  7. Pickerel are incredible predators especially one that size
  8. Congrats Chris …… absolutely a NJ stuf !!!!
  9. ……………sinks ships and burns bites #Truestory
  10. Incredible trip - I’m impressed with your abilities to figure true trophy bass.
  11. I keep googling various swim baits - I need a new search engine.
  12. The grip is a unique design and not for everyone - obviously the price point is inline with the level of labor and craftsmanship that goes into these rods as they have sold. These are true one off customs targeted at certain segment of the market. I have been buying Nameless Custom Rods for 4 years now and for me they’re simple the best “ performance swimbait “ rod out there. I recently started to chase hybrid stripers and after speaking to Justin he suggested a blank and a specific build for it and built me an absolutely amazing spinning rod - so for me its absolutely worth it to work with a true custom builder. The Van’s Grips may not be for you but I guess Justin decided to test the market and so far the market is saying “ YES “ with their hard earned dollars.
  13. @brootalititties Trying to figure out a way to state that one is certainly not gripping a fishing rod as tightly as the hand;e bars of a dirt bike going 60 MPH. A smooth cast is never achieved with a tight grip and tense muscles - transfer the energy from your arms and let the rod do the work.

    Dogged Me.

  15. Tested out the new Nameless Custom Rods 710 EX and all I can say it takes the effort out of casting 10 oz baits for me. Light as a feather, loads up incredibly well, easily handles the Ghost and Illude Zombie XL. The shorter length is easier for me to swing in tight quarters and absolutely helps with accuracy which is key to me. In situations where I want crazy distance such as bomb casting over long tapering points it will absolutely blaze a 4 oz bait like a DRT K9. An absolute winner of a rod. I believe @chefchris will confirm all of this. IMG_1923.mov

  23. Fought gusts to 40 mph in my lil tin boat and managed a few decent bass with @NJSwimbatslinger all on the Shat from @Kyle Gracely and as always on Nameless Custom Rods keep you eyes peels for the release of the 7” shat - for a smaller profile bait its git such a great glide and an absolutely perfect sink rate.
